The room that you advertised on booking.com said it was for 2adults and 2 kids. When we arrived they told us the room only had 1bed and was not for four people. They charged us an additional 33$ for another room. A fifty percent increase in the price. I’m not sure if it’s your fault, or their fault. But it is a shady way to do business.

Right in the city, right on the water. We were traveling to Tulum, so just stayed one quick night because taking ADO to Tulum next morning. Clean, beautiful and neat. Felt very tropical in restaurant area.

The food the room and that the hotel was basically beachfront was very very nice.

I liked almost everything of the hotel. Nice breakfast, Enough to start the day. The beach is right in front of the restaurant and the beach club. I just visited it for breakfast.

Really close to all the action in Playa del Carmen. It’s on the beach and just a block away from the famous 5th ave (Quinta avenida). Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful.

All employees are amazing, I told them it was my 11th anniversary and than lupe clean and decorate my room very nice, it was great moment when we are come back from the beach and see tha great surprise, Edna from the front desk is very helpful and very sweet and they have Bruno the dog is so cute and big. Breakfast was ok and the people in the restaurant and bar great too. Thank you everyone for everything.

The reason we chose that hotel was to relax at the end of our journey through Mexico and I wanted to enjoy a swim up room, which isn’t something every hotel offers in Playa del Carmen. The room was very sizeable, it had a jacuzzi and the swim up option was awesome – you can easily dry and change after your swim. The grounds are massive and it takes 10-15 to get from the lobby to the room. There is access to the beach. Many shops on site for your convenience. Nice pool bars and fountains around the hotel. Quiet at night. Shuttle to Playa del Carmen 3 times a day so you shouldn’t get too bored.

Pool access from room, great entertainment at pool and at night. Great food variety! Room was clean and big, and serviced everyday.

Food was great, plenty of choice. Drinks were good too. Easy access to pools and beach. Snack bar was an extra bonus when you have kids. Evening shows were great, there was always something to do.

The place was great. I stayed there 9 years ago and it’s not as "fresh" as it was when it was newer i.e.: the rooms could use a coat of paint and in the pools many tiles were missing causing dangerously sharp edges. I know of one guest who’s foot was cut by this. Other than this the place was great and staff was very polite and helpful.

The staff was friendly, and the resort was easy to move around in. The JR suite was spacious, and clean. I loved sitting out on my balcony. Overall the resort was an easy and safe place to stay with a young family.

The best part about the property is the wildlife. You come across various animals that you don’t normally see. They also have very friendly cats living on the property. The evening music and shows are very good. They also have a sports bar that is open 24 hours.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. The grounds were beautiful. Loved the spa and the nightly entertainment. Enjoyed the meals at the Italian and French restaurants. Because we were celebrating out anniversary , a couple of nights we had a little extra treat in waiting for us in our room. I was impressed at how they try to keep a eco balance so it was fun watching the various cats and other animals and birds at the property. Although I don’t personally have young children I was impressed by the fact that they property has a kid/family zone, which they didn’t on my last visit about 5 years ago. So it is more kid friendly but the Platinum area is further down from there (yeah). I’ve actually stayed at both properties now. So it gave me a chance to do a comparison but I will keep my preference to myself.

My wife and I came to Playa del Carmen for 3 nights and stay with Kinbe over the weekend. The place looks beautiful! Enrique was super helpful with recommendations and places to visit. Location is great for young party people since there’s like 4 clubs a block away so that means it’s loud over the weekends. But again great location since its up the street from the beach and a few steps away from Calle Quinta Avenida (5th Avenue) which is all your restaurants and shops. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family visiting PDC

I loved the look of this little boutique hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was small, but it was comfortable, and clean. The rooftop is awesome, the location perfection, and loved the little courtyard and pool.

Pretty much everything was great! From the location to the mini-bar (apparently not common to have one in this part of Mexico), this room & hotel had it all. A highlight for me was the staff behaviour – extremely helpful and friendly.

Hotel Kinbe is a beautiful boutique hotel located in the heart of Playa Del Carmen. It’s 2 mins only from the sea. The staff are very polite and helpful. It is next to the main street and all the restaurants and bars but quiet at the same time. Lovely place to stay.

The apartment we got smelled like humidity and the airco did not work. We then ask to be changed to another apartment the next day after been very annoyed by the situation. The new apartment was ok

Looking at the pictures, this property looks beautiful. In real life….. For a complex just built in 2008, they are in for major issues. You can see the rot everywhere. Guarantee there are serious mould issues. It’s a huge property, so we wondered if they simply can not keep up with the maintenance. Employees were all very pleasant. Our unit was clean. Our best moments were outside of the suite. Beach Club was fantastic. Great food and service was good.

Our stay was magnificent. The front sea view of our apartment was just breath taking. Our stay at Marea azul just spectacular. We have been there for the tenth time and every stay is just marvelous. Jessica & Gabriela from the front reception are very very nice reps that Marea Azul has. For us its always so so so nice to be able to share our family vacations at this paradise place-marea azul. Keep up the great work all of you that work at marea azul.

Great space. Large rooms, beach was all to ourselves. Large pool! Daily housekeeping was appreciated.

The location is very nice because you are just the right distance away from downtown (5th Ave) Playa Del Carmen. About a 10 minute cab ride to get to all the fun but far enough to feel like you are away from it all. Also, the actual condo was nice too. It was clean and seemed pretty new. If you are planning on cooking, keep it basic because pots and pans are cheap and small. A lot of places like this that we’ve stayed at supply you with basic stuff like salt, pepper, sugar, coffee filters but not here.

Unit was very large, pools and garden well kept and beautiful. Not crowded, no loud music, very quiet. Beach and ocean very nice Beach club had good food and was very convenient. Balcony was huge and we enjoyed the hammock and jacuzzi Walk along 5th ave to town was a solid 30 mins and very safe-walked it almost every day, people along the way were lovely and friendly. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Very spacious rooms, excellent swimming pool complex.

This is a great place for couples and families. Right on the beach. Always plenty of food and just the right amount of adult beverages to make people happy with causing issues. There were service desks so you could book excursions. The specialty restaurant was incredible. Would book again!

Visit: July 28, 2017 – Aug 5, 2017. The availability of buffet hours. The pool was spacious & the access to the beach was perfect. The quality / quantity of the adult beverage service was terrific. The staff very pleasant.

The wait staff in the restaurants were very attentive.

The beaches and easy access to all amenities. The all inclusiveness with friendly staff everywhere willing to help. The many activities for children. The show including the children’s show were awesome. The food was great in the main restaurant and in the formal restaurants. All of the bars offered excellent service. The pools were clean and very nice.

Location is great – on the beach Zumba and yoga classes Restaurants -- and they went above and beyond for a wonderful New Year’s Eve celebration -- excellent!

Helpful staff, great facilities at the hotel. Beach area was very nice. Wide selection of food.

The hotel grounds was amazing. Safe gated resort with stores near by. The restaurants that you reserve were GREAT!

The fact that the resort was all inclusive and the staff were very nice.

Location. It’s on the 5th avenue which is the main street. Also it’s close to 2 beach clubs (they’re horrible but pretty popular)

Very comfortable bed, great shower and the overall room was one of the best we stayed at in Playa del Carmen. The hotel kept the pool/ hot tub open late for us and the staff was excellent. Also, the bar had unexpectedly great food and drinks. Highly recommended!

Location is perfect. The room was clean, very couples oriented. Lovely bed, laocctaine products, double shower heads, jacuzzi in the room.

Everything was perfect! The location is just great. No problems at all to park the car. There is a paid public parking very near, but it was not necessary. With a little bit of pacient and a small car you find a spot.

We got an upgrade to a room with a jacuzzi. The staff was very nice (especially Montserrat) and allowed us to leave our luggage at the reception until late at night and use the pool on the rooftop. Breakfast was included and provided at the bar on the main street. The hotel has an amazing location, close to many nice restaurants, bars and shops.

I really enjoyed my days in Hostal MX. The staff is amazing, specially Juan Carlos and Jose, they are very kind.

Nice indoor patio. Has a bar. Really central. Big private rooms

Perfect place. I would stay again, definitely. I stayed in a room for 2 people: it was big, very clean, great bed. I had a terrible infection and an employee (Lucia) was perfect! She helped us with the doctors, with the telephone, asking if was everything ok. The hostel seemed cheerful but since I was sick me and my boyfriend didn’t enjoy so much. Anyway I loved the place and really recommend.

Amazing hostel in the city center of Playa. Gate and 24h reception + security guard. A place where you feel at home immediately (nice bar and big bbq). Rooms are very clean with a silent! air condition (runs from 10pm to 6am in the dorms).

GREAT staff and volunteers, hairdryer you can borrow, hot water, and of course location, location, location. For the price it’s a really good deal!

The location was great. The security guard was friendly.

The location is absolutely perfect. The hostal is gorgeous- like a little paradise on its own. The rooms have plenty of space, and the staff is very helpful and friendly.

Horrible staff they took money from my cc and they made a new booking using my info they sent pix of me to another hostel names el che. I never had that experience in my life they mad3 me loose my flight. Horrible service no recomend to anybody the woese on the world. Be carefull with that place.
