the location suted me perfectly. I was there with my mom. It was calm and convenient for her. That was what I wanted to find for the moment. What was not so good – walls between rooms are very thin, so we could hear quarelling neighbours for all one night… really so. Only one sower and lavatory on the floor – it is a wildness! we live in the 21st century!!! I think it is necessary to improve. We had TV set in the room, it is good, but it was made in 1980s yet!! oh. And no fridge in the room. 🙁 But anyway, I was satisfied with what I got at that price for that moment. thk u!!! regards, Lana
Fair price, not so far away from metro, kinda interesting view from window.
I chose this hotel since it was affordable and next to parks. The location is kind of far from the center (you only realize how large Kiev actually is when you are there) but this does not really have to matter since the metro is not far away, and in the area there are enough facilities to survive for some time (first day I didn’t leave the area). // The large park or woods just south of the hotel is really nice. In the middle of it I by accident discovered the "Main Astronomical Observatory of NAS of Ukraine", which is an interesting place with strange buildings, which might be nice to visit (I enjoyed it very much myself, even when I didn’t go inside or anything, and I don’t know if this is possibly either).
This hotel is a really a retro experience. The block itself is large and seems to also incorporate offices and businesses. We stayed in a superior apartment at the end of a long corridor and it felt a bit like a grandma’s flat – exceptionally clean but old fashioned. Location-wise it’s a five-to-ten minute walk to the underground station through a residential area on a big main road and there are some coffee and food kiosks there. There’s also a 24 hour pizza restaurant which we didn’t try. The journey into central Kiev on the underground is around 15 minutes. If you’re on a budget then this hotel provides a reasonably priced and rather unique and memorable experience… For the record we stayed there for Eurovision and found more central places very expensive.

10-15 min walking to Vystavkovy centre (is about 6 station, 15 min far away to maidan and tolystoy square) metro station. U can go easly, anywhere with metro in Kyiev. Around the metro entrance, u can find small coffe shops, small patisserie, kind of food trucks, and women selling fresh fruit/vagatebels in street. Also near the metro station there is a market open for 24 hours ( but after 23:00 u cant find cold beer 🙂 in front of thr hotel there is a bustop. Coffe shop. Across the road a super market. Next to hotel pharmacy. Nice disrtrict to walk. Good Price Anyway if u dont like much clubs/night life, and dont want to spent money, It will be a good desecion. But if u want to walk in streets at night, go to bars, clubs ect… Not the hotel u looking for.
I expected worse for this price in Kiev, so… not bad. And there were no neighbours in the block.
The staffs were professional and the bathroom/toilet amenities were clean..
Well maintained old hotel, clean, big rooms with comfortable beds. Location is the best. Walking distance to the important palaces, market, city hall, and othet major tourist attractions. City tour buses are beside the hotel. Subways & public buses are a few meters from the hotel. I would definitely come back.
