The Splendid was perfect for us!! It’s not in the glitzy part of Hanoi and that suited us well! We loved the little patio table and chairs on the street side (but not the ugly smelly ashtray!) and we would happily stay there again!
The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to help me. I had an early check out and they prepared a take away breakfast for me.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Splendid Boutique Hotel. The staff was very kind and attentive and the location of the hotel in the Old Quarter was perfect. We appreciated the tips given by the receptionists to find good restaurants and places to visit in Hanoi. We highly recommend that hotel to people looking for a well located and nice accomodation at a competitive price.

This is a very nice small hotel in an excellent location. My room was a bit small and there was no window. But it was clean and comfortable for what we needed. Good value. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Also we could hear people in next room.
I felt very welcome in this hotel. The staff will do everything for their customer. As i arrived at 05.00 a.m with the nightbus from cao bang they gave me already a room which was not completely finish cleaned but it was ok for take a rest and have a shower. And they are really interessted to have a good service they asked me two or three times if everything is ok and if the breakfast was good or if there is something they could increase. In no hotel the staff asked me that. Furthermore when i checked out i decided very spontanuous that I want to fly to Da Nang the same day. Unfortunately with my mobile phone it was not possible, there was always an error message. So the reception managed it for me and called at the airport to book a flight for me. I was so thankful 🙂 it is absolutely worth it to stay here!
Staff very helpful, great location only a few minutes away from metro and bus station, nice room and bathroom, good breakfast.
