I stayed at Camellia 4 three separate times in Hanoi. It is nicely tucked away in a quieter corner of Old Quarter, so it is away from a lot of the traffic and honking. The beds and comforter are heavenly, and the staff was always friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is pretty good too, which 24 hour coffee, tea, and a water refill station. I recommend the rooms with a balcony. Whenever I come back to Hanoi, I will definitely be back at Camellia 4.

Location was great and breakfast better than most places in Hanoi. Room was OK for the price paid.

Locantion on this hotel was really good as it was based in the old town. Nice breakfast included in the price. Shower gel and shampoo available in the bathroom. Mini bar available in the room with reasonable prices. Comfortable bed.

No facility for disables. Water dropped from AirCon. Fungus on the room wall, bathroom wall, bathtub, toilet seat. Broken door. Left that place after 2 nights. Took 20$ fine. Not recommending anyone to stay there.

I would suggest view the rooms before paying or handing over your passport. The pictures online vary from what is actually there. The staff members are very friendly and helpful.

the overallimpression is good but the very negative point is that the hotel is just next door of the discotheque with unbearable lound musics every nights. a little fortunate was that it is closed at midnight. so unless you are also going out till late at night, you will never like this hotel.

Mimi on the front desk was super friendly and helpful. The bed was comfy and the hotel is right in the middle of the old quarter.

The hotel is very close to the Old Quarter but is in a "calm" street. The staff is super efficient and booked a cruise in Halong Bay and a train ticket for us. Rooms were clean and with all the needed conditions. Reasonable breakfast.

The staff were wonderful, especially Vivian who did everything she could to help us and make our stay really memorable. She also arranged our trip to Ha Long Bay, our stay in Ninh Binh and overnight train from Ninh Binh to Danang. Breakfasts were excellent too.

The staff at Golden Sun Villa Hotel are exceptional… they really couldn’t be more helpful and welcoming…. A real credit to the hotel. The beds are so comfy ,rooms big and great air con. Breakfast ..there was plenty of choice, we are vegan so not so much choice for us but they were able to cater for us and there was a few options, the fresh spring rolls were especially good as were the dumplings, sandwiches, bread, jam, more than enough to set you up for the day also fresh fruit ,juices and coffee. We stayed here twice in our fortnight, 7 nights in total and couldn’t fault it, I would definitely stay here again if back in Hanoi, a little gem of a hotel in the heart of the Old Quarter 💚

The breakfast was very good but most of all it is the team of the hotel that made our stay so beautiful – very friendly and helpful. The room is quiet and clean and away from the bussy streets.

It’s a nicely located property with kind and flexible staff. We really just needed a simple place to sleep with a decent breakfast with a good value and we were satisfied.

The staffs are very friendly and helpful, room is awesome, bathroom is beyond my expectation 🙂 you can even leave your baggage at the hotel when you checked out and continue your journey at Hanoi, then come back and collect after all.

It was my second stay in this hotel and I have been welcomed in a very friendly way. I was even offered a drink and some fruits. I had the luck to be upgraded and the room was just fantastic 🙂 This time I tried the breakfast and most of the things are really good (of course the small croissants can not be as good as french pastry ;)) the choice also is huge. I can not say enough good things about this hotel 😊

The staff was extremely helpful. As I stayed elsewhere, I rushed in on a Friday afternoon for a visa renewal, and not only did they refer me to a reliable travel agency, but the staff took the time to get me there on a motorcycle. Very nice and friendly. We booked a room afterward in the hotel.

Love everything about the place. Great location and the best hostess. Hue helped organize my friend’s travel arrangements and was just alround great with all our requests.

The room was beautifully decorated and had amazing view over the lake. There was also a rooftop balcony with a nice seating area. The host Hue is super friendly and took me for breakfast in town in the morning.

The Millan Homestay is a cosy and wonderful place where you can feel everything and everybody is taken well care of the moment you arrive. Hue is a lovely host, discreet but very friendly and helpful. The place is clean and relaxing, the breakfast (cooked on the spot) simple and tasty. The location is a little bit apart from the busy city center, looking out on a calm pond, although most things to visit are within 30′ walking distance. We definitely recommend and would go back anytime we were to go to Hanoi!

It’s not only a wonderfull place where we can stay for enjoying your travel but also amazing friendly people that can help you for anything and give you the best advices for visiting. I loved staying here during my trip, i highly recommend it !

Very beautiful rooms. Owner of the hotel is very helpful and nice, and speaks very good english. Seems updated and knowledgable about tourist destinations even outside northern Vietnam and can give personal advice and tips for your trip.

The place is super cozy and trendy, feel like u r the owner of a stylish cafe. Nxt to the beach, very easy to find. Staff is super nice and friendly, she brought me and another couple to have local lunch. I enjoyed my stay and talk with the staff and other guests very much! I higt recommend this place, wether u wanna explore the city, or just wanna relax, it’s perfect! Nice designed homestay, I’ll definitely love it!

The hostess was very welcoming in a relaxed way. Also she was very helpful and fun to chat with! Millan home has a relaxed vibe, looks beautiful from outside and inside. Besides that, the location is great because of the calm neighbourhood (compared to the rest of the city), the view from the rooftopterrace and you can take a nice walk to the old quarter (not too long). Definitely recommending this place!

The Staff was extremely nice, helpful and informed us about everything we needed to know just arriving in Vietnam. We had a room without window, which was totally fine, we still felt very comfortable there. It was clean and had everything you need. The location is perfect, we could walk everywher, it’s a quiet street and around the corner you have all the shops, restaurants, etc. Breakfast buffet was very good as well with fruits, yoghurt, cereal, toast, etc for western tastes and also vietnamese dishes. Highly recommend this hotel.

The greatest thing was staff. They were so gentle and nice. Just after I arrived hotel, without any delay they help me check in. And also gave us a lot of information about Hanoi. not only sightseeing but they also provied good restaurant!! Room condition was also awesome. I will visit here again when I visit Hanoi!
