Good sized rooms located in the old town. The lady was really friendly and helpful.
The host at the Thu Giang Guesthouse was so incredibly helpful, from recommending places to eat, changing money and ordering me a Grab bike taxi to my next destination. The location for me was great. Tucked away in a alley, so a little tricky to find, but very quiet and with some authentic food stalls nearby and a fruit, vegetable and meat market around the corner. A short walk to the main lake and old quarter for sightseeing.
Loved it here so much I extended my stay twice. All of the staff were incredibly friendly. Vy is a great host, she went out of her way to help me on more than one occasion. The guesthouse is in the perfect location. A great base from which to see all of Hanoi, right in the middle of the busy and popular Old Quarter, but tucked away in a quiet and charming little alley. Best of both worlds. Sad to leave, but I’ll be back.
