Rooms were extremely clean and tidy. I was very pleased with how the front desk treated us when we checked in. Be aware that the desk are unable to speak English, so be sure you have a basic enough level of Mandarin (or prepare to Google translate) to communicate. Rooms had all the basic amenities and beds were very comfortable to sleep in. The surrounding areas had a lot of great shops and stores. There are good vegan/vegetarian options about a 5 minute walk away. There are also your typical Chinese food and Western fast food available in the same plaza.

A good hotel following international standard in a decent location. The west lake can be reached by bus or by walk (but climbing the hill). Great air conditioning, spacious rooms and friendly staff. I liked it.
The front desk girls at the check in were friendly.
The hotel is located in quite a big road, near a bus stop (even though I didn’t take one), also near a supermarket and some food stores. The breakfast is Chinese style, cheap and worth the price. The wifi was good, as well as the room space.
Good value comfortable room. Simple, but clean and cosy. Aircon kept room nice and warm in winter, but bathroom was still a little chilly.
Staff were very helpful, however only one person could speak English. The rooms were clean…. But of course the hotel itself is really old.
