perect location for city trip to Barcelona. fell in love again with the city after avoiding it for several years. very diverse, high quality breakfast. Very friendly front desk guys & girls who gave us very good resto tips in the neighbourhood (2 evenings in a row). Nicely decorated, spotless clean hotel. I will definitely book again @ one of the Room Mate hotels when going back to barcelona. (and look for it when visiting different location) All 4 of us had a great time!
Exceptional staff, great location, very good breakfast, easy to get to places
Amazing stay! Lovely big room. We had the purple room, Big and comfy bed. Two gigantic pillows, almost too big. Excellent shower, two options – normal stream and waterfall stream. Good water pressure and hot water. Breakfast was sufficient, bread, toast, glutenfree options, yoghurt, juice, milk, coffee machine, streaky bacon, scrambled eggs ( could be better), cakes, Could have had more options for hot breakfast – would have loved fried eggs or pancakes Pool open until 30th of oct. Heated by the sun, so cold at this time of year. Excellent location – Casa Batlo right outside. Also a stop at the Barcelona Turistic Bus, hop on hop off bus. Metro Passaig de Gracia right outside. 5-10 minutes walk to La ramblas and placa de catalunya Aerobus leaves/ arrives at Placa de catalunya – cost 5.90 euro pp one way. Any questions we had, were answered by the staff, and they provided help with tickets etc. Excellent staff. The guys were especially helpful, thank you
Modern Interior and comfortable bed. Friendly and approachable staff. Great location for all places to see around Barcelona
The hotel is near to Casa Batllo which I could see it from balcony and the roof. There is a swimming pool locates on the roof and it is clean. The elevator could only be used by room card which guarantee the safety. I took a taxi to the hotel from train station with around 15 minutes. And I walked to Plaça de Catalunya around 10 minutes to take the Aerobus to airport. Then talking about the service. The reception is with hospitality. He introduced the surroundings, such as the route to shopping, to the sightseeing. He helps us check the price/timetable of bus as well. The service kit in the room is sweet, including nail polisher remover for lady.
The breakfast was superb and catered for everyone. Room was excellent and very clean.
Room fixtures, fittings and design, including tiled floor and a great shower. Comfortable bed. Good WiFi. Would be fine for business or pleasure.
All of the staff, without exception, were extremely friendly and helpful. I particularly appreciated the kind gesture of one of the female staff on reception who escorted me with an umbrella and helped with my suitcases to the nearby train station during a torrential downpour when checking out.
The hotel is very central. We were upgraded to a room with a terrace which looked very nice but unfortunately it rained most of the time we were there! The room was trendily decorated The beds were comfortable and the bathroom well equipped. The breakfast was very good indeed. Lots of choices and well cooked. The staff were very friendly
