Best hostel i’v bin so far. Everything is good. Eventhough is clouse to the busy street, its in a quiet alley.
Excellent location if you’re looking for bars and clubs. Hostel was nice and clean and the beds comfortable. The twin room was TINY but the balcony was nice. Shower was in the toilet which is annoying but not uncommon in hostels in this area.
I don’t even know where to start about how great this hostel is. The staff, because they go great lengths to bring you their best service and their brightest smile. The atmosphere, because it seems like there’s always something going on. Location, because it is located in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter.
Great location, but the best is the staff, I want to thank specially Duong and Kelvin, who made me feel like at home! If I ever go back to Hanoi, for sure I will be at Old Quarte View Hostel! Gabi
Located in old quarter and next to pup street, easy access to many restaurants and shop.
I stayed in like a 14 person mixed-dorm so people were constantly coming and going, but I really enjoyed my stay here! The facilities (rooms, cafe, bathrooms, and A.C.) were great--bed was super comfortable and wide! I booked my tour to Halong Bay through the desk the day before and paid $67 USD for the day trip which provided a comfortable van ride, all of the typical sites including kayaking. The location was fantastic--right in the heart of the Old District--just steps away from Beer Corner and lots of other amazing shops, bars, and restaurants.
Overall an excellent stay, highlights included: – wonderful, attentive staff with excellent English (and overheard French, Spanish and other) language skills; all of the staff try really hard to make your stay as easy and comfortable as possible – very good communication, easy to make booking alterations – reasonably priced private airport pickup (big weight off on arrival) – cash and credit facilities – fast wi fi throughout property – very clean – comfortable beds – quiet but still plenty of people around if you wish to socialise – free beer for half an hour per night – laundry service – extended bag storage
The hostel is good located, with helpful friendly staff and clean facilities. Breakfast is included (I never made it to the breakfast since it is only until 9.30 am). Even though it is close to the bar streets, it is not too loud. There is also enough storage room for private things. Two things that might need to be changed: the soft mattress, and an elevator is missing.
Even though we had to climb 10 flights of stairs to get to our room(good training for trekking in Sa Pa btw) we would totally stay here again! Free breakfast and coffee, and free beer i between 6-6:30. Our room was clean and comfortable with a private balcony, and the beds were delightful! Thanks for a great stay!
Huge room. Friendly staff. Only needed a bed and a shower for a family of 5 before flying out of Sydney international. Satisfied our needs. Close to the airport.
