It is very close to the lake, you can easily walk there, and you can get there by bus from Wulinmen, if you take bus from the airport (there are some important bus stops near the hotel). The staff is helpful, even if it is hard to communicate in English. There is a bar right next to it. The room was small but looked okay.
The hostel was great! Good location to get to anywhere around the West Lake very easily. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
The shared room was among the best I’ve experienced in China.
Nice to have a bed in China with a fairly normal mattress! Staff were helpful and overall had a pleasant stay. Location to visit the West Lake and surrounding forest area was very convenient. The city centre a little far, but can easily be accessed by bus.
Conveniently located around the West Lake area, has a few bars less than 10 minutes walk and a Traveller’s Bar just 10 seconds around the corner of the hostel. There’s also a small convenient store and bike rental shop just behind! A great location for those wishing to explore the West Lake area during the day and night as everyone walks around at night by the lake to watch an outdoor show. I loved that it is a very preserved location. The staff were extremely friendly and helped whenever possible, they can also order a taxi for you. Some of the staff at the reception speak English which is a plus. Plenty of windows and bright spaces, also a few sofas around making the place cozy.
I love the location! Short walk to west lake, 植物园，岳庙！ I love the Japanese restaurant at 2nd floor. The common room is no longer there, they have converted to Japanese restaurant! The don’t have coffee machine neither. Bus number 28 and 7 will arrive at 曙光公寓， only 5 min walk from hotel. This hotel’S name on GPS should be called 旅行者曙光路。 From airport to this hotel, including toll fee, taxi fare should be below 150¥. Some taxi driver will pretend they don’t know this place, they could possibily drive around for more taxi fare! People knows 曙光公寓very well! Behind hotel, 10 min walking distance, have 3 famous restaurant! Ask the receptionist, they will share with u!

The place is very close to West lake, in a beautiful wooded area. The staff was very friendly and helpful, even if communication may not be easy due to language difference; Bus stop close by. It is not located "in town" , which makes it a very quiet place.
Nothing really not to like about this hotel. Great location, close to the centre of Madrid, and just a few minutes from Atocha Rail and Metro Station, and Airport Shuttle bus stop. Pleasant, clean, solo room, with balcony, overlooking the Paseo del Prado.
