Excellent location right in the middle of the old quarter. Very noisy at night but apart from that it was great and the staff very helpful.
Staff are friendly and helpful Noisy noisy and did I mention noisy. Location ok but more suited for backpackers or a very cheap budget hotel, after three room changes due to aircon problems we decided to bale on this Hotel and upgrade. and our tour booking from the hotel was good, we thought it was value for money however do shop around there are deals but remember you get what you pay for.
Staff very professional & courteous. Location is just "OK", it’s very close to shopping, eateries, bars, backbackers, hostels, Hoan Kiem Lake and etc. Can get very noisy at night since it’s located among the partying alleys of backpackers & locals. Room is very huge, plenty of space to stretch out. Furniture is made out of wood so not too comfortable to sit in the chairs for a long period of time. WIFI is awesome. When departing room for whatever staff will enter the room to turn off the air conditioning so not too fond of this. The hotel charges a small hidden fee when paying with your credit card which was never disclosed prior to booking. Prior to taking a shower you will have to flip the switch to the hot water heater in order to receive hot water.
The property had potential had it been taken care of. Staff did not seem prepared or expecting guests even though i booked in advance. The room had clear signs of dampness visually as well as the smell in the air. Lose wiring. Very spacios. Looked like what it does in pics but when we reached there we realised the pictures were obviously taken a long time ago. Seemed like it had been used a lot and then left deserted for a long time.
The staff esp. the manager were rather thoughtful. Because they do not have an elevator, they upgraded our room from a room for 2 people to a room good for 3 people for free since that room was in the lower floor to save us from inconvenience. They were also very accommodating. They do not wait for us to ask for help, but they automatically offer help in any way they could like giving directions, hailing a taxi and the like. Also, their location is really accessible and strategic. Plus, they arranged our tour to Halong Bay, a very comfortable day-tour that was.
Nothing. It was horrible. Dirty grey towels, dirty sheets.very noisy at night. Didnt feel safe. Dirty bathroom.
I enjoyed to stay here. Manager of Hanoi Marriotte hotel – Nancy organized halongbay 1day tour excellent service. All staffs were so helpful and honest..The hotel is near markets, good food.Certainly, come back again !
The breakfast was good specially the bread. The room was so big and comfy.
Location of the place is amazing. Stuff are very helpful and friendly. Rooms are very good equpted: TV, safety box, Air conditioning(thank you!!!!). Bathrooms are always clean and tidy. Great place! Will recommend it!
