Why use GHCDIV as an abbreviation?

During our review, you might sometimes see us refer to Guest House Ca’ dell’Angelo in Venice (37 characters long, including blanks) as GHCDIV (6 characters long) for the following 3 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very groundbreaking, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and GHCDIV is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes
  3. We save 31 characters every time we do this

So, just a heads up that we’ll be using this abbreviation sometimes, so you’re not left scratching your head and wondering what the heck we’re talking about whenever we refer to GHCDIV throughout the remainder of this review.

Also, we’ll sometimes use GHCDIV41831 which is a combination of the abbreviation with the Travel Help Guru post id, which we sometimes use for THG tracking purposes to further differentiate abbreviations from one another.

For example, are you traveling to Venice for business or pleasure? Visiting friends or family there? Simply want to soak up the sights and attractions?

Does Guest House Ca’ dell’Angelo have a pool?

An indoor pool or outdoor pool (or even super swanky rooftop pool) might or might not be important to you, depending on how you’re planning to spend your time in Venice and who you’re traveling with.

For example, if you’re traveling by yourself on business, it might not be important at all, but if you’re traveling to Venice with friends, family, or children, and you think you’d enjoy relaxing by the pool at GHCDIV, it might be an important consideration whether there is an indoor or outdoor swimming pool, whether it’s heated or not and has a pool bar or not, and so on.

Brief reviews (in English and other languages)

Lovely lady that looked after us- Christina!!! The best!

Clean and comfortable, great staff, good breakfast, perfect place.

Great location five mins from St Mark’s square, but quiet and exclusive neighbourhood extremely spacious and well furnished room with some elegant touches and furnishings, particularly liked the spacious bathroom. Far superior to the hotels in similar price range.

Maria was always ready to help when we required assistance. This included helping with directions and suggesting places we could visit. On our last day we were given the option of leaving our suitcases at the hotel after check out and collect them later that day. This allowed us to tour Venice on our last day without having to drag our suitcases around the city. Plus the hotel is in such an amazing location!!

The location is great, very close to st.Marco, the staff are very hostable and everything is new and clean. I ‘ll definitely come back to this property.
