Why use CDFIR as an abbreviation?

During our review, you might sometimes see us refer to Casa De’ Fiori in Rome (22 characters long, including blanks) as CDFIR (5 characters long) for the following 3 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very groundbreaking, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and CDFIR is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes
  3. We save 17 characters every time we do this

So, just a heads up that we’ll be using this abbreviation sometimes, so you’re not left scratching your head and wondering what the heck we’re talking about whenever we refer to CDFIR throughout the remainder of this review.

Also, we’ll sometimes use CDFIR38632 which is a combination of the abbreviation with the Travel Help Guru post id, which we sometimes use for THG tracking purposes to further differentiate abbreviations from one another.

Use Google to find the best Casa De’ Fiori coupon promo codes and discounts

This is one of the most effective ways to get a CDFIR discount, even though it can be a bit time consuming.

Sometimes, being more specific can help improve your search results, but you can also try keeping your search queries for CDFIR simpler, like this:

That way you just get a Casa De’ Fiori discount, promotion, or offer emailed directly to your email address once you’re on their mailing list.

And now, let the questions begin…

Is Casa De’ Fiori in a good location in Rome for you?

Where you want to be located in Rome is one of the most important questions for you to answer.

Of course, it all depends on why you’ll be in Rome in the first place, and whether the location of CDFIR will be helpful to you or not.

For example, are you traveling to Rome for business or pleasure? Visiting friends or family there? Simply want to soak up the sights and attractions?

It’s very simple: decide what you want to actually accomplish (what you want to see or do) in Rome. And then decide whether Casa De’ Fiori’s location is a benefit for that or not.

Does Casa De’ Fiori have a pool?

An indoor pool or outdoor pool (or even super swanky rooftop pool) might or might not be important to you, depending on how you’re planning to spend your time in Rome and who you’re traveling with.

For example, if you’re traveling by yourself on business, it might not be important at all, but if you’re traveling to Rome with friends, family, or children, and you think you’d enjoy relaxing by the pool at CDFIR, it might be an important consideration whether there is an indoor or outdoor swimming pool, whether it’s heated or not and has a pool bar or not, and so on.

If a pool is very important for your stay, THG recommends that you do a specific search for the best deals on Rome hotels with pools.

If you’re staying at CDFIR with multiple people, this answer is important, because a single twin bed, double bed, queen bed, or king bed is fine if you’re on your own, but if there are others you’d rather not share a bed with, it’s worth checking whether you’ll have a couple double beds or queen sized beds for the sleeping arrangements, or perhaps even a double sofa that you can pull out and make into an extra bed.

Brief reviews (in English and other languages)

Staff, location, size of room, cleanliness. Easy to communicate needs. Coordinate taxi to airport.

The location, price and service were all great. Breakfast was much better than it needed to be and we were able to get an early check-in to accommodate our flight times. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Lovely place, the staff is fantastic, extremely helpful and kind. Bathrooms have been updated. The rest of the unit is classic/antique and "old Rome" feel. we enjoyed it tremendously. Great Breakfs.

Beautiful view….Good Breakfast lovely cake or tart made every morning…Very clean and made fresh everyday

Casa dei Fiore is located a few steps from the Campo dei Fiore market in an historic building. Our room was spacious with 2 large windows, one overlooking the rooftops of Rome and one overlooking the market. Because it is located on a cul de sac, we did not find it noisy despite the proximity to the market. The bathroom was large. The staff was very helpful especially the lovely lady who serves breakfast. She would make us cappuccinos to have in our room before we were ready to go to breakfast. The breakfast was adequate with pastries, breads, meats and cheeses. The location is perfect and within walking distance of all major sightseeing attractions and a plethora of restaurants, cafes, bars and shopping.

Excellent location, in the heart of the historic center. Very good restaurants nearby.

Great location, walk to the major sites. Breakfast was nice.

Fantastic location, staff were friendly and very helpful, breakfast was great, bed was comfortable.

The location is perfect, all can be reached by foot. The houskeeper was super nice, and the Restaurant downstairs is frequented by locals. The bed was super comfi, and the windows are super soundproof, so we had no trouble sleeping facing the small square. Breakfast is very good for italian standarts.
