Why use CDSFRAPRIR as an abbreviation?

During our review, you might sometimes see us refer to Casa Di Santa Francesca Romana a Ponte Rotto in Rome (52 characters long, including blanks) as CDSFRAPRIR (10 characters long) for the following 3 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very groundbreaking, we know)

Brief reviews (in English and other languages)

The view from my window, the courtyard and the nooks with pictures, antiques and textiles.

The locationgoid for sightseeing, atmospheresnd food.

The building is very beautiful and interesting, especially if you like religious places. Breakfast is quite good. Location is also very good.

Location was excellent and the little out of the way restaurants there were all 4 star and much cheaper then the tourist traps

Great location, not far to walk to the main sites and plenty of places to eat and drink in the immediate area. Super friendly staff who kept an eye out for my late luggage!

The air conditioning was great during a hot August in Rome. The room was a decent size but very clean and pleasant. The beds were not luxurious but comfortable enough. We asked for space for 3 adults but I forgot to mention that 2 of us are husband and wife so we got 3 single beds which was a bit strange. The former convent had retained most of its religious iconography which I found attractive and interesting. The staff were kind, friendly and helpful. Mauritsio was was particularly good at his job. The breakfast was very good with a fine variety of fruit, pastries, cold cuts, boiled eggs and coffee. The location was fabulous and the contrast between the historic neighbourhood and the fresh, clean hotel was very pleasant.

This is in a fabulous location. Easy walk to many attractions

This is a really great place to stay, and I will be back. It has real Roman ambiance, down to the courtyard full of fruit trees and the pervasive Catholic imagery, incl. in the rooms. This is no generic hotel!

I felt very comfortable at the hotel and the location was perfect. I booked a single room, but got at nice and big room with a nice double bed. The hotel was very quiet and the staff very friendly and helpfull. I went back to a very clean room every night. I walked from the hotel to every attraction I went to see, which was very important to me. I felt safe walking around alone – Trastevere is a fantastic area – especially when you are traveling alone and want to meet people on your way. There is a lot of restaurants and bars to visit during the nights. All in all I had a fantastic stay – I am in love with Rome 🙂 I would book a room here again.
