What an amazing hotel! Several beautiful historic buildings in a huge park; a real oasis of calm in the middle of this huge city. Just wonderful! Our room in the club building was enormous, as was the marble bathroom. The bed was big and comfortable. We had a balcony with a view of a waterfall and fountains. There were birds singing in the tree next to it. The club lounge was a trip back to the thirties; wood panelling, high ceilings and incredibly big sparkling chandeliers. Very good breakfast. The Afternoon tea came with tiny sandwiches and cakes which were delicious. Happy Hour was a complimentary drink with a complete dinner buffet. Amazing value for money! The hotel is ideally situated to discover the former French concession; People’s Square is only a short taxi drive away.
Modern apartment in the heart of Madrid. Everything seems to be brand new in the flat which is quite convenient. The apartment was clean and is very functional if you’re travelling alone or with a partner. Hard mattress which I really appreciate for my back and a proper shower with decent pressure. Location is great! Right in the center and easy to move anywhere by foot or public transport.

Good location, friendly staff. Acceptable hotel for the most part, but it should cost half what it does until they improve some basic, obvious things.
The building itself is beautiful, very high ceilings and nice period detail. The bathrooms were clean and showers hot and powerful. Staff helpful but not that friendly.
The room was a good size and had a wonderful view (which we specifically paid for). Breakfast was varied and mostly good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Access to the sea was pretty good and the pools were nice. Really easy bus ride to the old town. I think we benefited from going at the end of the season as it was pretty quiet.

We really liked the staff and the cleanliness of the facilities. The Hotel is located in an old part of town and is far from all the noise and traffic, but still 2 minutes away from the subway. You can get water and juice for free in the kitchen. The room was big enough for two people and had a small window to the outside. Also it was a silent and calm place to be. You can feel its sort of a small family business. Overall was a great stay for someone on a budget.
Nespresso Machine – although it didnt work properly. The Shower bathroom in the room . We were able to buy travel tickets at the reception for the bus and train etc whci saved us lots of bother. We got good advice from staff on transport and day trips
Best location, near both underground and BTS. Handy for shopping and nightlife. Still quite at night. Nice bed. Good privacy.
