Location. We had a view of the Bell Tower. Very beautiful at night.
We booked this hotel because of its location. It is right in the middle of the action in Xian. It is an old hotel but has been kept up. The breakfast buffet is good but after eating it once we decided it is way too expensive. The rooms are clean and there is a safe. A metro station is right outside the door.
the location is perfect, short walk to the drum and bell towel, also the Muslim market, surrounded by malls and nice stores, the atmosphere is really nice, the rooms are comfortable enough and the AC is perfect, all modern! My mom and aunts enjoy a coffee in the restaurant area and they said was a really good coffee, the staff really friendly and respond quickly to any inconvenience in the room.
The staff were friendly but more than half struggled with English. The place was old but could have been cleaned with more efficiency and effect. Tha adjoining restaurant was excellent and the location wonderful. If you go in the knowledge of what to expect then this is a great hotel to stay at right in the middle of the old city.

The location of the property close to the City Wall, shops and Bell Tower was excellent.
Fair, you’re paying a bit more than most places in Xi’an, but the location is really great.
The very good location of the hotel in a quite extense city. Close to a metro station and not far from some places to visit.
Mosquitoes in the room. Noisy for street facing rooms till 2 am. Lights faulty. Carpet dirty. Not worth a single cent. Would not even stay there even it is free. Worst hotel I had ever stayed during the last four years. Could not even rate it.
