The staff were super friendly. It was a good budget experience, lots of spa products to use in the traditional style bathroom. Was interesting to see the outer precincts of toyko and little houses wandering the streets nearby to the train.
Loved the baths! Very aesthetic. Out of the general fray of Tokyo. Staff were very helpful.
Really comfy very clean room in quiet area. After a flight was great to sleep in a king size bed. We arrived at almost midnight and caught public transport from Narita. Felt very safe wheeling our luggage through the streets at this time and the few people around were friendly. Gotanno station 15 min walk and then just 2 stops to Tokyo metro. Great places to eat around the area as well as fabulous massage studio. As with every place in Japan it is all about exploring and finding treasure. Would definitely recommend this Ryokan and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Loved it!
You will get nice ryokan & spa here even though a bit far distance from public transport. Worth for your money. I love there.
Excellent facilities. Loved the stay. The staff speaks limited English but are very friendly and helpful. The free coffee and soft drinks vending machines were helpful early in the morning. We had a bad smell from clogged drains ( the previous guest probably) at check-in for one of our rooms. The staff changed our rooms immediately without any fuss. Very proactive service.
The moment you arrived you would smell an awesome combination of different herbs. Shoes out, some kind of sandals on. Shoes in locker and key exhanged for hotelchamber key. Staff is very nice!
The bathroom was great and the extra toiletries were lovely. Free drinks were lovely too. We didn’t see or hear anyone else staying at the property for the 3 nights we stayed. If you are going to the property from the subway come out of the only exit and turn left walk to the first set of lights and turn right it’s quite a long and boring road and with suitcases (big) tiring. You walk through two sets of lights and at the third which is quite a big main rd cross and turn left walk until you see a small garage turn right (small st) and walk 5 secs and turn left. The hotel is there.
Modern facilities, friendly staff albeit with limited English skills, extras like free drinks at reception and in the room, toiletry supplies replenished daily, reasonable price.
It is a perfect example of Japanese combination of tradition and modernity. Wonderful staff, cosy rooms and amazing bathroom equipped with lot of different amenities made the stay there unforgettable. This place is perfect after long journey since it enables to relax as in exclusive SPA. For sure we will come back here next time.
The location of the hotel is very good soroundig with shopping centres the staff are friendly and very clean
