The size of the room(s) would be considered large Tokyo standards and the location in old school Asakusa is great and rustic and so many sights within walking distance. Asakusa subway just around the corner and Ueno stop for Yamanote line about 15 minutes walk.
The staff are wonderful and helped us book dinner at a restaurant we would not have visited otherwise. Their futons are extremely comfortable and the apartment is spacious. Wonderful experience, our third time there and will be back for the next trip soon!
It is an old ryokan, so it is not new and shiny, but has a sweet quirky atmosphere. The rooms are very spacious – we had a room divided in a kind of livingroom with a table and cushions on the tatamimats, bedroom with futons on tatami, and a small corner with a chair and a little window where we could sit and look out on the street. You can book the bath for half an hour and go with your partner even though they are the opposite sex. The bath is small and oldfashioned but nice. they are very kind, and the breakfast is good and worth the money, you just have to order it the day before.
Great location and wonderful, friendly staff. Room is not big but clean, functional, and "Japanese". The private bathroom is small but very nice, and the shared bath also pretty good.
The food was great, futons comfortable, staff just lovely, the location amazing, almost everything was perfect. I especially LOVED people there and how calm was Asakusa. There was everything – food, temples, shrines, 7-11, Family Mart, Donki. The time there was great and I strongly recommend staying there.
The staff was very welcoming and pleasant. The inn is located within a very short walk (1 block) from the Sensoji Temple grounds. Leading up to the temple are many little shops selling Japanese items and food. There also are many restaurants, and the subway station nearby. It was the perfect location!
Very nice Ryokan, As you’d expect very compact. A/C a welcome necessity in August. Staff very friendly, a few spoke good English (although I did try to speak Japanese I promise!!). Rooms have oven shower facilities also a great spa bathtub on the ground floor which you can book a slot for free. Nice location in the popular old part of Tokyo.
This hotel located so close to Kaminarimon and we could walk to everywhere. Our room was clean and comfortable. We loved the family bath (traditional Japanese soaking tub) so after a long and hot day exploring Asakusa, we relaxed in the ofuro.
The staff was attentive and welcoming. We loved the convenience of the cafe that is part of the inn. The Japanese breakfast was delicious and the bath was so invigorating. Great location in Asakusa. The futons were very comfortable.
La Sebastiana suites hotel is a nice place to stay with your family. It has a good location near good restaurants, Costanera Center and the metro and you can go everywhere from that point.
