In the heart of Kyoto. Very clean. Staff really helpful. Perfect.
Great location close by foot to everything. There is a cleaning period between 11am -3pm so guests are asked to leave during that period of time. Booked the deluxe area. Despite sharing the room with several other people it was very quiet and peaceful at night. There is everything you need in the bathroom from basic toiletries, hairspray, body lotion face wash etc. Added bonus. Theres is a 24 hr Ichiran less than a minute by foot away!!
the bed is comfy and the room is clean and bright, ideal for reading. I love that they provided the hairdryer as well as hair curler & straighter.
Get ready to be transferred into a different world. Awesome place to stay. The food scene in the area is superb. Spotlessly clean and super professional staff. Close to everything.

The hotel was incredible and very cute. English manga selection was good for those that have less experience reading, but for someone who has read more manga you might be stuck re-reading old stuff*. The Japanese selection was mind blowing and even someone who didn’t speak Japanese could enjoy the shelves of beautiful material. The whole facility is very comfortable and quiet with space for privacy as well as public reading areas. I easily spent hours reading and its an awesome way to wind down after a day of exploring Japan. *Off the top of my head I remember seeing Nana, Claymore, FairyTale, Highschool DxD, and others. A lot of Shonen Jump publications.
Clean, modern and fun, original atmosphere, a must try for anyone passing by kyoto
