An Italian guest manager and a Tunisian Lobby manager were extremely proactive in welcoming. They spoke English. The Lobby manager saved me missing my train, warning me there were two stations.
Huge rooms and fluffy bed Staff was very welcoming and spoke English
Very comfortable hotel – near the lake (about 2 blocks). This provided an excellent area to walk – there is a causeway that gives you a nice 3.5 mile circuit from the hotel and return. Additionally there is a boardwalk along the side of the lake that parallels the downtown shopping area. A classic and safe area to enjoy.
Been before, will defiantly be going again! It offers everything you need, we were booked into the Club room so had access to all that Club offers, laundry, happy hour, afternoon tea. The staff are helpful, courteous and give invaluable advise on the surrounding area. We had a restful and enjoyable stay here 10/10.
Everything… We never had so much attention for our needs as a guests in any of the hotels we ever been and not just in China… Eduardo literally saved us when we arrived… He took us personally all the way to eat in a restaurant close by to the hotel with a normal western food and we were so thankful… He upgraded our room also for our honeymoon… Anita and Sheima also were amazing… They were So kind and carrying.. Helped us with everything we needed before we’ve even asked… The Windham hotel stuff are highly professionals… Thank them for everything… They made our vacation 10 times better… Plus the location was great.. 2 min walk from the best parts of the lake… Breakfast was very good also… I have much more to say and only positive thinks… Definitely will come back whenever we have the chance… I will not forget my staying with them…
Large hotel, friendly helpful staff, located near West Lake. We stayed in a suite which was well appointed – large soft bed, bathtub, etc. A 10 minute walk to the east side of the lake (e.g. for a boat ride or the light show) and the downtown core. A short taxi ride to other attractions such as the Lingyin temple. Subway line 1 is two blocks away with access to both Hangzhou and Hangzhou East railway stations.

This is our 2nd time staying here. Just like 4 years ago, the staff is very attentive. The western staff, that seems to rotate after a couple of years, really go out of their way to be helpful and welcome you. We missed this in all the other hotels we stayed at in China
Location, location & location ! Its superb. Also the staff & managers are very friendly & helpful. In fact, this was the 5th time I stayed in this hotel. I will defintely stay here again for my next visit.
