Traditional Thai 100+ year old villas have been painstakingly reconstructed in an art-filled compound. I like that it’s locally owned yet managed by world class hospitality team with top tier talent. Serious attention to detail. Artful and sophisticated without being snooty – the resort has clearly been a passion project for owners. Good saltwater pool with enough length to even do a laps.

雑誌のクレアで特集されていて、その美しさに惹かれてわざわざチェンマイのこのホテルに泊まりに行った。 行って見ると雑誌の写真の通りで、美しさは期待通りだった。 宿泊者は１日に数組しか受け入れていないようで、スタッフがその数組のために働いているため、サービスが圧倒的に手厚くなる。まるで王様にでもなったようなサービスを受けた。 少し早めにホテルに着いたが、心からの笑顔と、ウエルカムドリンクと冷たいおしぼりで迎えてくれた。 チェックインの手続きも、自分の部屋に通されてからクーラーの中でくつろいだ状態で行う。スタッフは手渡したパスポートとクレジットカードを持って出て行き、綺麗な封筒に入れて戻してくれるなど、細部までサービスが行き届いていて気持ちが良かった。 部屋は２階建てになっており、１階にはソファーが置かれたリビングに、２階がベッドとバスルームになっていた。１階は外に通じていてクーラーがないため、季節柄それほど使うことはなかった。 部屋はタイの古い建築様式そのままで、若干暗いが、掃除が行き届いており清潔で、ベッドはとても寝心地がよかった。 朝起きると、寄せ木細工のように精密に作られた屋根の木材を朝の太陽光が透過して、影絵のようなモザイクアートのような、そんな表情を見せてくれる。 バスルームはモダンで機能的。 ウォシュレットがあるのはもちろんのこと、高級ホテルのクオリティで快適に保たれていた。 昼食もディナーもメニューは同じだったが、とても美味。 特に、マッサマンカレーは今まで食べた中で最高に美味しかった。 しかも宿泊費に比べると、食事のメニューはどれも安価で、なんかとても得をしたような感じがした。 スタッフは観光の予定まで親身に相談してくれ、町の中心部まで、わざわざ車で送迎をしてくれた。 車内には冷たいおしぼりと、冷たいミネラルウォーターが置かれていた。
調和のとれた隠れ家的なヴィラである。 スタッフの方も素晴らしく臨機応変な対応をして頂いた。 Gekkoの鳴き声とアメンボに癒された。
The receptionist was very welcome on our arrival. The room was good size and very clean. The hotel is on the main road but not noisy at all. Very comfy beds so we could have a good night sleep. The breakfast had good choices, it’s worth the money.
Local and Indian food at the Breakfast and Luch Buffet were good. Desserts were fantastic!
Well appointed hotel with very Viennese decor – it was like living in a mozart chocolate box, very quaint and totally appropriate for this wonderful historic city. The staff were helpful, the breakfast was excellent and the beds were comfy.
Great location walk everything close, owners very helpful and speak English
Wonderful bed and bedroom Superb tea in bed on waking Terrific dinner the night before. What more could one ask for?!
