It was fantastic. We had tons of room to move around.
Our accommodations were nice. My only complaint was the loud construction sounds on both sides of the hotel. I would like to see them have a room/rooms available with small kitchenette as there was no restaraunt on site and no breakfast offered, no microwave in the room.

Having been to other places on the gulf coast I would rate Clearwater beach a long way behind the other places we have visited. The general vibe of the place was not very friendly, bar and restaurant staff bordering on rude(not all of course).Sorry Clearwater beach,we will not be returning any time soon.

This place we stayed "Michael's Surfside Cabanas" is not located in Clearwater Beach -- it is actually located in Redington Shores! I do think Booking.com needs to correct this on their site!

Clearwater Beach is a great place to visit for a long...
Clearwater Beach is a great place to visit for a long weekend. I am not sure I would want to stay a whole week. We crammed a ton into two and a half days during our visit. Next time, we will stay three or four full days.
We had dinner at Marina Cantina, one of our favorites. I highly recommend this and also booking a reservation!
We visited Pier 60 before sunset and visited all the vendors and enjoyed the entertainment.
The shopping downtown is a mix of touristy gear and upscale clothing. We purchased some of both. We hit up Surf Style and Ron Jon for the Clearwater Merch. My daughters shopped at My Lady Boutique for some trendy resort wear.
The best ice cream is at Ice and Cream. It is downtown on the beach side of the main strip. Looks like it is family owned and they have a ton of flavors. Small batch, homemade.
Best place for breakfast is Another Broken Egg. The food and service are the best!!! We go there every time we are in Clearwater Beach.
We had lunch at Jimmy's Crow's Nest. It is on the 10th floor of a building near the marina. You cannot miss. It is across the street from the Wyndham Grand. Lunch was ok. It is definitely more of a bar atmosphere. The views are awesome!
The one thing I really like about Clearwater Beach, besides the amazing sand and sunsets, is that you can walk everywhere you need to go. The boardwalk along the beach is very enjoyable to walk along.
We live in northern Michigan and have a direct flight right into Clearwater through Allegiant. This makes it really easy to visit. We decided after this last trip that we will make this an annual visit! If you have never been, you should go!

The hotel in itself is good. It has tiles.
The hotel in itself is good. It has tiles. The first night the air conditioning and heating system was not working properly. So, the receptionist on duty changed my room, which was very nice of him. The second night the TV did not receive the signal for capturing the channels. I called the receptionist and got hanged up. I called a second time, he picked up the receiver, but was of no help at all since he said that he could do nothing because there was no technical person at night.
The bedding was excellent, however, the floor needed to be cleaned. The closet has bottom rails that are rusted for lack of cleaning.

Clean and well stocked. Behind the rear is the walkway onto private beach. Unbelievably beautiful white sand with lots of sea shells and even sand dollars! All as advertised pool area, outdoor furniture, laundry, parking and a killer sunset! I fully regretted not staying here my entire trip, rather than exploring other areas. After Belleair Beach no place was as good. I will be back and am happy to have discovered my new favorite Florida beach! Xoxo
Excellent location, everything in within quick walking distance to beach, restaurants and shops. Building with junior suites overlooked pool , had small kitchenette and was only 2 floors with balconies that overlooked pool and street, would NOT have been happy with standard room, pay the extra snd get junior suite. Had a cool, Florida vibe, not large high rise hotels
The woman at the front desk was very friendly when checking in. Hotel rules are simple and all rooms are just steps away from the beach. Our room was very comfortable with a kitchenette, living room, and bedroom. Guests also use the grills near the beach for cooking. Pool was beautiful but we didn't use it. We will return.
Location is amazing. Almost beachfront, walking distance to restaurants. Size of the room is good, ac on room 102 worked nice. Quality of shower is amazing, tons of water and hot/cold water works well. Bed and sofa beach super comfortable. Pool was well maintained and clean. Robert the manager was very polite.
Really liked the natural beachfront location, somewhat off the beaten path, but only had an overnight there on-route. Might stay longer in the future to spend more time at it. Large room with a partial ocean view was somewhat sandy, but it is on a beach!
They worked with me to help me get through the identification process following the loss of my Florida Driver's License and were super friendly and made my difficult day easier. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Excellent Service!!
Camelot's location is great. It's out of the very busy part of Clearwater Beach, but just one street away from the beach. It's a nice walk to restaurants, shopping, etc. There is a friendly atmosphere at Camelot.
This hotel is much cheaper than nearby hotels, is old and has no frills. But is was clean and quiet. Serves its purpose to be close to the area if do not want to spend a lot. Second stay there. Good value
The hotel is beachfront less than a minute walk to the beach. Bed was comfortable. Our room was cleaned everyday. No disruptions with WiFi connectivity. Coffee was available in the front desk everyday.
Staff was amazing! Private beach was beautiful! Food was a bit pricey but was excellent! Hotel is expensive but if you are looking for a little paradise this is the place!
