The overall location of the hotel was pretty good, a person who is capable of walking, everything was in walking distance. The bed was decent enough. The food and the cleanliness of the room could have been better. People with allergies needs to be on alert, because if you're a paying customer, they didn't offer me or made any suggestions to me that they have ways of taking care of you should you have any allergic reactions that they wash their linen in. Pros- Beautiful, historical, lots of stuff to do, lots of attractions. There is a fun "downtown" area full of bars and restaurants. There is a new casino too. Everything is within walking distance and if it's not, there were lots of Uber and lyfts. Cons- Lots of homeless people living on the streets and sleeping in tents.

I got charge for my stay at hotel twice , I booked it thru booking.com At arrival I provided my c. card and few days after we checked out I saw a second charge for the room ,that I paid already .Sure they will work it out,but I highly recommend to everyone to check few days after checked out be sure that hotel did not charge you twice .

We went to the Harley dealership to do some shopping. We visited Fourth st live for the Mardi Gras crawl.. We walked to some of the places in the area of the home we rented. Silver Dollar,Miki Karoke bar was a lot of fun and had a pool table also.

Super cute and welcoming city. I had the good fortune to meet a new friend who essentially played historian and tour guide during my stay. The food was good, the people were friendly, and I would’ve liked a few more days.

I love Louisville…. Have great friends there. Spent NYE watching Marr Rife at the Louisville Palace which was a blast. Did not like our stay though. It wasn’t the worst by far but from its rating I expected more/better.

I took the Seelbach tour that the hotel historian offers, and the tour is great. I ate at the restaurant many times. Chardone is my favorite waitress. The prices for food and drinks are a little high, but they seemed consistent with the other places in the area. I guess that is what is costs to eat out in downtown Louisville. There is a CVS across the street that sells simple food items, and wine/beer.
