Why use TRIR as an abbreviation?

During our review, you might sometimes see us refer to Trastevere Rooms in Rome (24 characters long, including blanks) as TRIR (4 characters long) for the following 3 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very groundbreaking, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and TRIR is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes
  3. We save 20 characters every time we do this

So, just a heads up that we’ll be using this abbreviation sometimes, so you’re not left scratching your head and wondering what the heck we’re talking about whenever we refer to TRIR throughout the remainder of this review.

Also, we’ll sometimes use TRIR38611 which is a combination of the abbreviation with the Travel Help Guru post id, which we sometimes use for THG tracking purposes to further differentiate abbreviations from one another.

The only catch is that the discount you’ll get on TRIR will depend on a varity of factors.

Why Trastevere Rooms discount rates can vary wildly

The price of staying at TRIR will depend on factors such as the time of year (season), days of the week, current level of popularity (how booked it is or not), and more.

That said, you can use the tips below to hopefully get a great Trastevere Rooms promotional offer, in addition to the deal at the top of this page.

Use Google to find the best Trastevere Rooms coupon promo codes and discounts

This is one of the most effective ways to get a TRIR discount, even though it can be a bit time consuming.

In a nutshell, you want to get on Google or a different search engine of your choice and do searches for things like:

  • Best Trastevere Rooms promotion code or available promotion codes
  • Most recent Trastevere Rooms voucher code
  • Popular Trastevere Rooms coupons

Sometimes, being more specific can help improve your search results, but you can also try keeping your search queries for TRIR simpler, like this:

  • Trastevere Rooms deals
  • Trastevere Rooms discount codes

It’s worth taking a few minutes doing these kinds of searches, if it gets you a better price on your stay in Rome.

Use email to get a good deal on TRIR

Another tactic is to look up Trastevere Rooms online, and if you find a relevant website for it, chances are good that you can sign up for an email list that will eventually push exclusive offers, discounts, and deals for it that are available for a limited time.

That way you just get a Trastevere Rooms discount, promotion, or offer emailed directly to your email address once you’re on their mailing list.

Find good deals on other places to stay in Rome

The worst case scenario is that after all this searching, you’re still not satisfied with the Trastevere Rooms price.

The THG system for evaluating TRIR is very simple.

Just consider the questions below. The more you answer "yes" to each question, the better TRIR38611 is a good fit for you.

If you want to make it more fun, you can assign a rating of 1 suitcase to 4 suitcases to Trastevere Rooms, depending on how good of a fit you think it is, according to your expert rating.

But that’s optional.

And now, let the questions begin…

Is Trastevere Rooms in a good location in Rome for you?

Where you want to be located in Rome is one of the most important questions for you to answer.

Of course, it all depends on why you’ll be in Rome in the first place, and whether the location of TRIR will be helpful to you or not.

For example, are you traveling to Rome for business or pleasure? Visiting friends or family there? Simply want to soak up the sights and attractions?

It’s very simple: decide what you want to actually accomplish (what you want to see or do) in Rome. And then decide whether Trastevere Rooms’s location is a benefit for that or not.

Does Trastevere Rooms have a pool?

An indoor pool or outdoor pool (or even super swanky rooftop pool) might or might not be important to you, depending on how you’re planning to spend your time in Rome and who you’re traveling with.

For example, if you’re traveling by yourself on business, it might not be important at all, but if you’re traveling to Rome with friends, family, or children, and you think you’d enjoy relaxing by the pool at TRIR, it might be an important consideration whether there is an indoor or outdoor swimming pool, whether it’s heated or not and has a pool bar or not, and so on.

If a pool is very important for your stay, THG recommends that you do a specific search for the best deals on Rome hotels with pools.

Does Trastevere Rooms have a steam bath, sauna, hot tub, spa, or spa tub?

While you’re exploring the pool options at TRIR38611, you might as well check whether there’s a steam bath, sauna, hot tub, full service spa, or spa tub that you might be able to enjoy to make your stay even more relaxing.

Check-in times and check-out times can vary a lot depending on the accomodation, so be sure to verify whether the check in time and check out time at TRIR works with your schedule, as well as whether you can do a mobile check in to make the process even easier.

If you’re flying into an airport as a way of traveling to Rome, you will want to ensure that you can easily get to and from the airport from TRIR, and if you can do this for free with an airport shuttle service, instead of paying a taxi fare, bus fare, or for some other means of travel, that’s even better.

Does Trastevere Rooms offer free parking?

If you don’t have a car when visiting Rome, investigate what kind of transportation TRIR provides to nearby sites, as well as the best way to get around, whether it’s by subway, train, taxi, bus, Uber, Lyft, etc, especially since a nearby subway station, train station, bus station, or taxi station in walking distance can make all the difference in the world.

Does Trastevere Rooms have enough beds for you?

If you’re staying at TRIR with multiple people, this answer is important, because a single twin bed, double bed, queen bed, or king bed is fine if you’re on your own, but if there are others you’d rather not share a bed with, it’s worth checking whether you’ll have a couple double beds or queen sized beds for the sleeping arrangements, or perhaps even a double sofa that you can pull out and make into an extra bed.

Does Trastevere Rooms have good food options?

Depending on your needs, consider whether TRIR offers a free breakfast, and if so, whether it’s a simple daily continental breakfast / buffet breakfast, or something fancier like a brunch or some kind of fine dining experience with exquisite cuisine and award winning food.

Brief reviews (in English and other languages)

Good location for an overnight in Rome and Trastevere before our outbound flight. Hosts made special breakfast for our 23 month old toddler.

Comfortable basic room on second floor close to transport and 10min walk to centre. Good size bathroom. Restaurants downstairs. Lift in building. Breakfast room with complimentary breakfast.

The owner was helpful and very pleasant. Gave us a map and circled what we could do in a day.

The hostess gave us great advice about the main attractions and sights in Rome! The area Trastevere is the best place to eat and drink at night! We had a wonderful time here!

Good location. Easy access to public transport. Owners were lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. Their help was invaluable. They were very knowledgeable about the area and the city from restaurants, transport and planning your days out. The rooms had all you needed. We even had a smart tv that we could log in to our Netflix account if we wanted.

The hosts are absolutely adorable!! And super helpful, they help us to make reservations for the Vatican museum and gave us great sight seeing advice. The apartment was very nice as well as our room, that was also comfortable. Location is great a few minutes away from the center of the Trastevere.

Staff were amazing! So helpful and so kind to us throughout our stay! Would definitely stay again at this property

Very nice and helpful staff. Accessible, two tram lines stops right outside, which will take you to the Coluseum or Piazza Venezia. Very close to the old parts of Trastevere with all of the restaurants. Many nice restaurants in the vicinity where it’s a little bit less touristy. Great gelato place nearby.

My wife and my parents enjoyed our 1 week stay here. Fabio and his wife were very friendly and helpful to us. We enjoyed breakfast each morning and got some very good advice about places to visit. The location is excellent as it is very easy to get buses and trams to different parts of Rome.
