Great location. Close to beach and good for getting around. Spacious and comfortable room.
That the property was so bad, and the floor I was staying on had a restaurant exhaust fan on that floor and the entire floor smelt like cooked grease. I was able to cancel the stay due to the adverse conditions.
Fantastic location on the beach and not too far from Copacabana, Leblon and some great restaurants in the vicinity. Great views over breakfast and the view from the room is also great.
The bed was terrific, the view was excellent, the caipirinhas at the rooftop pool overlooking the ocean were fantastic. The seafood restaurant was also very good. Overall, it was a really lovely stay. The staff were friendly, warm, and helpful at every turn.

All staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast very good. Recommend their restaurant in the evening for good Italian food. Location couldn’t have been better, right on Ipanema beach. A pleasant and easy walk to selection of shops / restaurants . Weekend ‘Hippie’ market good. Excellent nearby bus service up and down the whole area – the fare is a fixed price so no language issues. Uber was a good way to get around as well. Hotel can arrange various tours which made everything very easy for us. We enjoyed the area tour including Corcovado, Sugar Loaf and other sights around the city. Also the Favela tour was very good and the hang gliding from a mountain down to the beach was fantastic. Felt safe generally compared with some issues around the neighboring beach, Copacabana.
Super Location! The terrace has a superb view of Ipanema beach, and alone it’s worth the money spent, though the swimming pool is really small The bed was very comfortable
