Amazing and helpful staff!! Rooms are nice and clean. Relaxing time at the public hot tub on the top floor.
Massive room, lovely futon beds, loved being able to dress in the traditional dress and go to the public bath in hotel. The bath is a lovely escape, great experience.
The staff were really welcoming and great, incredibly polite, friendly and attentive. The tea on arrival was nice, it made us feel relaxed as soon as we arrived. And the baths have a view over the city!
Ryokan Ryokufuso was perfect! Very nice and friendly staff all the time, open reception 24 hours (we arrived at 1pm), clean towels and bedding daily, very nice traditional Japanese ryokan! It was our first stay in ryokan. Some room equipment was not new but everythig was clean, functional and kind. Due to busy daily schedule we did not tried public bath, we had private bathroom, everything was clean. The bathroom was smaller in comparison to Europeans. Japanese futon bedding was very comfortable. We also noticed that yukata is also very comfortable 🙂 Tea set, hot and cold water and small swets were available daily. We reached Ryokan Ryokufuso by walking from train station in Kyoto (about 15 minutes), it was not hard to find it (we used traditional paper map). I was travelling with sister in law and we both were maximaly satisfied. We could recommend them.
Staff is very friendly and hot bath on the 6th floor is amazing. Perfect after a long day visitin KYOTO.
The rooms were well-maintained and the ryokan had a good indoor public bath. The young staffs here were enthusiastic and professional, giving us a good guide of the rooms and how to put on the Yukata.
If you like to enjoy authentic japanese style Ryokon, then this is the place. The staff was very warm and friendly. Public bath was excellent.
The location is quite good, but not perfect. 15 minutes walking from the station. Also not that convenient to all the attractions. The staff is very nice and helpful.
We really loved the place, it was very spacious and comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly
