Wonderful location, close to the activity on the river and to restaurants in the area. The view from my room of the Pont Luis Bridge on the third floor was "the best". Also, it was an easy walk to and from the station Sao Bento

Location was great, bed comfortable, very clean, good quality bed linen, staff helpful, 24hr reception, breakfast ok bread ham cheese, cereal but milk not cold, nice pastries and good coffee. lots to do in porto, we went across river to port cellars and sampled the port, we also took the cable car back beautiful views, we done the 6 bridges cruise on Douro, we were in several churches. Beautiful city. Also got train to Coast area esphino lovely area.
Best location in Porto. Very nice hotel, good beds and linens, good A/C, nice little touches like water and fruit in the rooms. Great breakfast. Quiet yet right in the centre of the action, easy to walk to all sights and the Port houses. Best place we have stayed in Porto.

We enjoyed our stay in a room with views over the Douro River.. An historic building with a recently decorated interior. There were two tiny balconies with opening doors.A delightful breakfast room greeted us each morning with an equally delightful breakfast.The hotel was situated close to river trips a d restaurants. Bus stop just around the corner to take you uphill to the market, shops and tourist sites.The receptionist was so helpful with advice and maps. A truly memorable stay.

Excellent location very close to the river and quayside, friendly and very helpful staff, they suggested local restaurants and made the bookings for meals, and arranged the airport transfer for us when we left, I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be going back to Porto for future short stay holidays.
The rooms were comfortable and the windows kept the noise out despite being in a very lively area. Breakfast was fine, staff helpful. We got a yellow bus tour ticket which included a trip on the Douro and a visit to a port lodge, as well as on and off trips on the orange and purple routes. Go and have coffee in the Majestic cafe (the french toast is v good)
