Location is very good for access to the Hermitage. Breakfast was also excellent depending on the time you arrived. Too late and the best food was gone. Coffee, like most hotels in Russia was terrible quality but they had a very modern Italian machine that would have made fabulous coffee if better quality coffee had been put inside the machine.
Proximity of great scenery and located in the heart of St Petersburg.
Although it’s on levels 4 and 5 without elevator, the staff helped us with out bags up the the rooms. You check in at Nevsky Hotel Grand reception and Grand Energy is just next door through a gate. The rooms are newly renovated with comfortable beds and nice size shower. They provide drinking water at the corridor to the rooms. The staff were very nice, patient and helpful. Enjoyed our stay and will recommend. Near all the main sites.
