This hotel was a very pleasant surprise in the Putney suburb of London. It’s parent company is German, and the facilities were all up to the German standard of excellence. The shower was wonderful! Excellent water pressure…the bed was very comfortable as well! The breakfast buffet was ample and complete--eggs, sausage, beans, toast, croissants, meat and cheese, juices, etc. and the cappuccino was the best that I’ve ever had from a machine! The entire staff was amazingly helpful and efficient as were a pleasant part of my stay. The hotel is one block from the Thames river--I even had a view of the river from Room 208--very nice to wake up to in the morning! Excellent location to shops and restaurants on Putney High Street-also excellent location for the trains, tubes, and buses. I will definitely stay there again!
