Great hosts!! Taking contact with us themselves, offering assistance and help and even checked whether there were any remarks or suggestions for improvement … we felt very welcome! The location: 10 minutes walking – with kid of 5 years old – from Porto center. Also possibility to take the metro from station ‘Campo 24 de Agosto’ (via Trindade connection with all metro lines). The apartment is spacious, all necessary equipment is foreseen, we had the flat at the first floor with a terrace with bbq. We spent a lot of time at the terrace 😉 The apartment is situated in a lively neighbourhood, bakery and small supermarkets nearby, people were very friendly and helpful despite the fact that we did not speak any portuguese … We were also lucky that there was a festival in the park at our doorstep, Jardim de S. Lázaro, and this every evening: great local food, drinks and music! I would book this place again (in august for the festival 😉 )!
The check-in went very smooth, the apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable. It is located not far from a metro station and there is a supermarket nearby. You can walk to the old town in 5 minutes.
The apartment was so lovely – with a small balcony on the front and a large one with a table to seat about 8 on the back. Everything was available – good kitchen equipment, beds, towels etc.
Eva met us on arrival, gave us lots of information, stayed in touch on WhatsApp and I felt I could contact her at any time. Arranged transport for us to another venue and was at all times considerate and helpful. Accommodation was pristine and more than adequate for all our needs. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms immaculate. Loved the terrace. Very close to restaurants, supermarkets, and metro. Main shopping area/centre just 15mins walk away.
