Cosy and nice structure, staff is very helpful, good shuttle bus services.
The shuttle bus made transport easy. Staff friendly and helpful, should have questioned concierge from day 1. Excellent service to make things simple.

The hotel is very comfortable and conveniently located. The Concierge staff were very helpful with maps and directions. The Bell Captain staff were very helpful in organising our luggage to be forwarded.
Tokyu Hotel has a great charm, with an interesting mix of modernity and old Kyoto atmosphere. The inner garden with the bamboos and the flowing water brings a great sense of piece. The rooms are comfortable, clean, decorated in a Japanese fashion with all modernity available. The location is great near NishiHongwanji, and the bus entrance is about 5mns walk. The shuttle bus departs and returns to Kyoto station every 30 mns, so it is easy to plan trips around Kyoto. The reception and concierge are of great help if you are a beginner or a veteran in discovering Kyoto and its surrounding.
Great selection of bars and restaurants within the hotel. Buffet breakfast was great, you can even add all your favourite ingredients into a bowl and have a chef whip you up a delicious omelette! Beautiful scenery with outdoor water and bamboo features. The staff were very helpful and friendly, we loved the onsite gift shop and purchased lots of gifts for friends and family like sake sets, jewellery and yummy Kyoto sweets! Location is great, walking distance to lots of attractions, otherwise the public transport is easily accessible. 10/10 would stay again next time!
Excellent hotel, very peaceful for the whole family and with great service
comfortable room. nice hotel although it was undergoing some renovation work. they have a shuttle service to the kyoto train station which makes it easy to commute but otherwise the location is not very convenient.
We had a "Hollywood room" in the top floors, it was very modern, beautiful and very comfortable. My understanding is that the rooms in the lower levels are totally different but we had a great one, clean and neat. The hotel bar is GREAT, they have a lot of spirits and the cocktails are really good The hotel store is very complete, you can get from souvenirs to many things We also had access to the executive lounge that was really nice and offers good snacks and complimentary beverages
Rooms roomy, though bathroom a little small. Traditional Thai style designed building, walking distance to both day and night markets. Quietly tucked away down an alley, right on the Ping river. Staff very helpful and all have been there 20-30 years. Great value for money.
