The beds are very comfortable, the breakfast left in the bedroom is a nice gesture, the place itself is really nice and clean with a lovely courtyard, the location near the JR station is quite convenient although it is not really in the city centre.
This ryokan is right opposite to the Fushimi-Inari and right next to the JR station (Nara line). The lady owner is so sweet and helpful. She prepares lovely big breakfast with fruits and tea/coffee/juice/yogurt. The futon bed is very comfy! She made it such a home experience for us. PS, Owner’s teddy dog is very kawaii!
The hosts were extremely hospitable and kind, and offered to bring us tea when we arrived. The beds were very comfy and we had a great night’s rest!
Everything was perfect, from the beginning to the end, the tenant is an amazing woman.
1) Location could not have been better for visiting the Fushimi Inari Shrine, as the hotel is right opposite the Shrine. 2) The hotel (more a teahouse, actually) is less than 30 metres from the train station, which makes it very convenient to get to. Despite its proximity to the train tracks, the noise did not disturb us at all. 3) The Japanese style room with a perfect miniature Japanese style garden right outside your window. We had the ground floor room. 4) Very helpful land lady.
A really lovely traditional Japanese stay in a lovely room. Our hostess was a very warm person who ensured our stay was memorable. Thankyou for your warmth and kindness.

The owner was super friendly and the place, though small, has its own tiny Japanese garden and a lot of atmosphere. Breakfast was a balanced and tasty mix of Western and Japanese. (If you don’t like ketchup on your scrambled egg, though, you should mention this beforehand. It seems to be standard in Japan.) From our window, we could see the bright red entrance torii of the famous Inari shrine.
