This guesthouse is very close to Hongdae,this was the most important to me. The crew was also good and provided me with a cheaper Everland ticket-that was nice. The rooms are exactly as described, so there was no problem as soon as I knew what to expect. There was CCTV everywhere so I had no worries about leaving my things there. Gonna to stay at Kimchee guesthouse again if I travel to Seoul one more time.

Although the single room was fairly small, Kimchee has one of the most affordable single rooms in the Sinchon/Hongdae area, which is what I was looking for since I had a lot of baggage. They are also competitively priced for bunk bed rooms, which is impressive given how cheap it is to stay in Hongdae guesthouses/hostels. Furthermore, they have plenty of space and have an accommodating staff. I am also a fan of the common room in the basement where one can relax, eat breakfast, or just chill with others. Last but not least, their generous offer of allowing you to leave your baggage with them for one week is wonderful. Definitely a good place for budget travelers and young people who want to hang out with people around the world.
The staff at this location are very friendly. I also thought this was a nicer hostel vs the other Kimchee Guesthouses.
The karaoke room are the best even though still can hear clearly outside the room.
This was a great place to stay as it is located right in Hongdae, about a six or seven minute walk from the Hongik University subway stop (number 2 line). The dorms were clean, although a bit small. I booked a private two bed room for my friend and me, and it worked out great.
