I can’t really answer the restaurant question regarding the Jasper hotel because I didn’t eat there, but all in all I was very pleased with my stay. Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room and great balcony.

The best part of this hotel was the staff. They were amazing – no issue was too small and everyone – from the bar staff and reception to the lovely housekeeping team just went all out to meet all needs. Wifi was fast and never dropped out, the dinner menu was a step outside my normal fare but the okonomiyaki and chicken were delicious. Toiletries were high quality and refilled daily. Location is incredibly useful, with the foodies Queen Victoria market right next door and a wealth of cheeses, olives, meats and smallgoods 50m from the hotel. Just superb. Trams go in every direction within 200m and it’s a stone throw from Melbourne Central, massive malls and shops. There are take-away options at 5 paces in all directions. I will definitely return to this hotel.
Check in was smooth, everything in the room was clean and tidy.
Great Location, room was spacious and great for working in between meetings as there was a desk. My partner and I were in Melbourne for Business and travelling with our 14month old baby. The hotel provided a portacot which was great. There was one very happy chap who worked in the cafe area, he was the only staff member that actually seemed like he enjoyed his job and loved to see others happy, plus his coffee was amazing!
The staff were super friendly and really willing to work with my horrible Spanish.
