We were looking for something a little bit special for our stay and we found Isa Begov hotel. It’s a small owner-run place and with its traditional design and personal atmosphere it captures the spirit of Sarajevo. We had a room upstairs which was quite spacious. The location is great, only 2 minutes walk across the bridge to the old town.
The hotel employees were all very friendly, the location is excellent just a 2 minute walk over the bridge into the asian section of Sarajevo. Lots of good places to eat and drink the prices are in comparison to other european cities very low and the quality is very good. The Hotel is clean but not as clean as you would expect considering it opened two years ago. The room had a wonderfull bed with a matress that wasn’t too soft and it was very quiet considering the hotels’ location.
Staff was extremely professional. The breakfast was delicious. The room is very clean and beautiful. Everything was perfect, especially the hammam.
Rustic design of the room and hotel, great location, free parking, 24/7 reception, enjoyed the very comfortable bed.
The breakfast was magnificent. Lots of little dishes of sweet and savory tidbits plus eggs made to order any way you could imagine. Room large and comfortable. The best part was use of the hamam – spa and steam room. So relaxing that I slept for 12 hours afterwards. A welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of town. The impeccable restoration of the hotel and human also served as antidote to all the places in and around town that still bear the sad ravages of war. Staff was very helpful in finding taxis, etc.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The spa was fun with great acoustics for singing. Breakfast fantastic. We had been traveling for a month and it was a treat to stay at the hotel … well worth it.
Out of the ordinary style and decor. Ceiling height was immense, probably higher than 4 meters. The breakfast spread was incredible in presentation. Plus the hamam was a nice bonus.
Everything was clean. Staff were welcoming and friendly. There was plenty of choice for breakfast – pastries, yoghurt, cheese/ham, breads, fruit, etc.
