We loved the location. Even though it is close to the airport it is quiet, no noise from the airport. Also, it is surrounded by good restaurants and coffee shops. We used the metro to go to Madrid city centre and that was very convenient.
The evening Manageress was brilliant and so helpful. Bag had been lost by airline tried to buy a cord and charger for phone but the machine ate the money and then told us out of stock. So she returned our money and then supplied us with cord and charger that had been left behind. Next day while at the airport waiting for bag she phoned us and told us the bag had been found and where to go and get it from. Service b eyound the call of duty.

We chose this hotel based on location, price, and reviews. We were not disappointed. It’s all about convenience. The shuttle service was very efficient. Room and bathroom with the bare necessities and clean. Walkable distance to Metro station to commute to Madrid.
I have nothing bad to say about Ibis. The room was super-modern, convenient and quiet. The bed was comfortable. Lots of storage and hooks. Next time I would take a taxi from the airport, as the shuttle only runs every 30 minutes, and then stops at 3 terminals. I guess I just missed one, so it took an hour from the time I started waiting.

Bed and pillows are really very comfortable. Nice view towards the airport if you like plane-spotting.
My flight arrived in Barajas at 22.00. I wrote to ask about the shuttle bus, and they made sure that there was one waiting when I arrived. And although the kitchen shut at 22.30, they cooked a full menu at 23.00 – I was very impressed. The buffet breakfast was just right for me at under 8€ (fruit salad, müsli, yogurt, tortilla, ham, cheese,boiled egg, toast, bread, cake, muffins, croissants etc. – if you prefer chocolate con churros, turn right out of the entrance and right again immediately!
We liked: – that there was a shuttle bus airport-hotel-airport. – the communication with the staff – the location (we checked in at 21 and left at 11 for the next flight) – i felt secure in the hotel -the value for money is perfect
The hotel staff was very pleasant. The room was clean and useful. Being a tourist, most of the day is away from the hotel. You come back, you go to sleep, eat breakfast (which was good), and you go out and tourist again! it’s close to the metro and shopping.
