You can simply skim the topics and questions down below, or click on any one you’d like to learn more about.
Why use HRIF as an abbreviation?
During our review, you might sometimes see us refer to Hotel Renaissance in Florence (29 characters long, including blanks) as HRIF (4 characters long) for the following 3 reasons:
- We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very groundbreaking, we know)
- We’re lazy and HRIF is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes
- We save 25 characters every time we do this
So, just a heads up that we’ll be using this abbreviation sometimes, so you’re not left scratching your head and wondering what the heck we’re talking about whenever we refer to HRIF throughout the remainder of this review.
Also, we’ll sometimes use HRIF29962 which is a combination of the abbreviation with the Travel Help Guru post id, which we sometimes use for THG tracking purposes to further differentiate abbreviations from one another.

We checked sites like Booking.com, Hotels.com, Kayak.com, Travelocity.com, and Priceline.com for the best HRIF promo codes, coupon codes, discounts, and coupons, and then presented you with the best one we found.
The only catch is that the discount you’ll get on HRIF will depend on a varity of factors.
Why Hotel Renaissance discount rates can vary wildly
The price of staying at HRIF will depend on factors such as the time of year (season), days of the week, current level of popularity (how booked it is or not), and more.
That said, you can use the tips below to hopefully get a great Hotel Renaissance promotional offer, in addition to the deal at the top of this page.
Use Google to find the best Hotel Renaissance coupon promo codes and discounts
This is one of the most effective ways to get a HRIF discount, even though it can be a bit time consuming.
In a nutshell, you want to get on Google or a different search engine of your choice and do searches for things like:
- Best Hotel Renaissance promotion code or available promotion codes
- Most recent Hotel Renaissance voucher code
- Popular Hotel Renaissance coupons
Sometimes, being more specific can help improve your search results, but you can also try keeping your search queries for HRIF simpler, like this:
- Hotel Renaissance deals
- Hotel Renaissance discount codes
It’s worth taking a few minutes doing these kinds of searches, if it gets you a better price on your stay in Florence.

Another tactic is to look up Hotel Renaissance online, and if you find a relevant website for it, chances are good that you can sign up for an email list that will eventually push exclusive offers, discounts, and deals for it that are available for a limited time.
That way you just get a Hotel Renaissance discount, promotion, or offer emailed directly to your email address once you’re on their mailing list.
Find good deals on other places to stay in Florence
The worst case scenario is that after all this searching, you’re still not satisfied with the Hotel Renaissance price.
This is still not a big deal, because you can easily search for other hotels, hostels, furnished apartments, etc. in Florence.
In fact, you can see a list of other hotels and lodgings in Florence here, in addition to HRIF, if you want.

But that’s optional.
And now, let the questions begin…
Is Hotel Renaissance in a good location in Florence for you?
Where you want to be located in Florence is one of the most important questions for you to answer.
Of course, it all depends on why you’ll be in Florence in the first place, and whether the location of HRIF will be helpful to you or not.
For example, are you traveling to Florence for business or pleasure? Visiting friends or family there? Simply want to soak up the sights and attractions?
It’s very simple: decide what you want to actually accomplish (what you want to see or do) in Florence. And then decide whether Hotel Renaissance’s location is a benefit for that or not.
Does Hotel Renaissance have a pool?
An indoor pool or outdoor pool (or even super swanky rooftop pool) might or might not be important to you, depending on how you’re planning to spend your time in Florence and who you’re traveling with.
For example, if you’re traveling by yourself on business, it might not be important at all, but if you’re traveling to Florence with friends, family, or children, and you think you’d enjoy relaxing by the pool at HRIF, it might be an important consideration whether there is an indoor or outdoor swimming pool, whether it’s heated or not and has a pool bar or not, and so on.
If a pool is very important for your stay, THG recommends that you do a specific search for the best deals on Florence hotels with pools.
Does Hotel Renaissance have a steam bath, sauna, hot tub, spa, or spa tub?
While you’re exploring the pool options at HRIF29962, you might as well check whether there’s a steam bath, sauna, hot tub, full service spa, or spa tub that you might be able to enjoy to make your stay even more relaxing.

Does Hotel Renaissance offer free airport shuttle service?
If you’re flying into an airport as a way of traveling to Florence, you will want to ensure that you can easily get to and from the airport from HRIF, and if you can do this for free with an airport shuttle service, instead of paying a taxi fare, bus fare, or for some other means of travel, that’s even better.

Does Hotel Renaissance have enough beds for you?
If you’re staying at HRIF with multiple people, this answer is important, because a single twin bed, double bed, queen bed, or king bed is fine if you’re on your own, but if there are others you’d rather not share a bed with, it’s worth checking whether you’ll have a couple double beds or queen sized beds for the sleeping arrangements, or perhaps even a double sofa that you can pull out and make into an extra bed.
Does Hotel Renaissance have good food options?
Depending on your needs, consider whether HRIF offers a free breakfast, and if so, whether it’s a simple daily continental breakfast / buffet breakfast, or something fancier like a brunch or some kind of fine dining experience with exquisite cuisine and award winning food.

Brief reviews (in English and other languages)
MaLuu (sp), the night attendant is super nice. Hotel will arrange parking (28 Euro per day). Hard to find hotel while driving (no big sign). Rooms are clean and nice, location is excellent. Total of 10 rooms small boutique hotel. Appears to be newly updated.
Perfect location next to the main attractions. Italian breakfast not the best, but ok. The shower is very good.
What do I say!!! this was an amazing stay. Comfort, cleanliness, location, staff, the size of the room… everything was excellent for real. I am hard to please but I could not find anything wrong with this Hotel. I would book here again for sure.
Location cannot be beat. Just around the corner from Piazza della Signoria but on a narrow street so things were very quiet. Room was nice size for two people, bed was super comfy, linens and towels were excellent quality, all areas were spotlessly clean, bathroom was very large and the shower was huge. All rooms are situated around a small, lovely dining room where breakfast is served in the morning. We were greeted by a smiling lady who promptly offered cappuccino as well as eggs or omelettes. Breakfast was excellent in terms of quality and variety. Prior to arrival, I used Earth View on Google maps to familiarize myself with the exact image of the front door which carries a small brass plaque labeled Hotel Renaissance. It is a small entrance, accessed by pressing a buzzer at the door. Reception is on the 1st floor (Americans will call it the 2nd floor) after ascending a few steps to an elevator/lift, or making one’s way up the stairway.
Its located in city centre, in a 1st floor from a historical building, near to all major attractions. Room is quite big compares to previous experiences and nice equipped. Very good price/quality ratio.
brand new purpose built B&B well thought out building and facilities in the room, especially bathroom was superb. Friendly staff, right in the middle of Florence, excellent location
Loved the decor overall.Lovely clean room.Very pleasant staff.Good continental breakfast.Situated in the centre of Florence.Would definately return to this lovely hotel.
