Porta Palio has one of the best internets that I’ve ever seen in a hotel. It is crucial if you are on a business trip. Also, the location of the hotel was great. After 10 minutes of walking, you are in the city centre. The staff was very helpful and the hotel is very clean too. Definitely going to stay there if I come to Verona again.
The room was nice – location was great – not too far from the station – not too far either from the city centre.
Remarkably attentive attitude of the staff. I especially want to mention the night porter Julia, who helped us a lot when the problem with the car was discovered. Her diligence solved the problem. Her special thanks to her.
basic needs are served there, but then come details. service is friendly by italian standards. breakfast is ok, but you couldn’t have scrambled egg if wanted.
Not far from city- centre and rail way station (15 min by walk).
The accomodation was quite good for the price, modern furniture, good bathroom etc. The bed was maybe the hardest I have ever slept on. For me it was no issue, but my girlfriend had a back pain from the bed. Staff was ok, breakfast was average, I would use scrambled eggs and bigger variety in hams, cheese and so on. You can park next to the hotel or in the hotel garage for low price. I recommend the hotel for people who do not mind a fine walk to the centre (15 minutes), the price is lower for this issue, but for us it was not a problem, Verona is a small city.

Friendly staff at reception 24/7. Location has easy access to surroundings. Map given at check in which is easy to navigate. Shops within walking distance and shopping mall within a 7 min drive. Bathroom is clean and free toiletries are nice. Room has a fridge
Modern small room. Clean and internet is good. Staff friendly, and good breakfast. A little outside from center, but I walked and was in center in 20minutes so no big deal.
