Friendly and very helpful staff, great location great value for money would highly recommend for budget traveler.
I liked the location, and it is set back in its courtyard far from any street noise. It is a short walk to the Hermitage and to the Neva, but a good 15" walk to the main drag, Nevsky Prospekt. The walk, however, is wonderfully acclimatizing to this great city: you walk along a lovely (channelized) river (Moyka) and pass the most elegant aristocratic palazzi of the 18th century especially, but also of the 19th.
