Why use HGIR as an abbreviation?
During our review, you might sometimes see us refer to Hotel Giubileo in Rome (22 characters long, including blanks) as HGIR (4 characters long) for the following 3 reasons:
- We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very groundbreaking, we know)
- We’re lazy and HGIR is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes
- We save 18 characters every time we do this
So, just a heads up that we’ll be using this abbreviation sometimes, so you’re not left scratching your head and wondering what the heck we’re talking about whenever we refer to HGIR throughout the remainder of this review.
Also, we’ll sometimes use HGIR38734 which is a combination of the abbreviation with the Travel Help Guru post id, which we sometimes use for THG tracking purposes to further differentiate abbreviations from one another.

Use Google to find the best Hotel Giubileo coupon promo codes and discounts

If you want to make it more fun, you can assign a rating of 1 suitcase to 4 suitcases to Hotel Giubileo, depending on how good of a fit you think it is, according to your expert rating.
But that’s optional.
And now, let the questions begin…
Is Hotel Giubileo in a good location in Rome for you?
Where you want to be located in Rome is one of the most important questions for you to answer.
Of course, it all depends on why you’ll be in Rome in the first place, and whether the location of HGIR will be helpful to you or not.
For example, are you traveling to Rome for business or pleasure? Visiting friends or family there? Simply want to soak up the sights and attractions?
It’s very simple: decide what you want to actually accomplish (what you want to see or do) in Rome. And then decide whether Hotel Giubileo’s location is a benefit for that or not.
Does Hotel Giubileo have a pool?
An indoor pool or outdoor pool (or even super swanky rooftop pool) might or might not be important to you, depending on how you’re planning to spend your time in Rome and who you’re traveling with.
For example, if you’re traveling by yourself on business, it might not be important at all, but if you’re traveling to Rome with friends, family, or children, and you think you’d enjoy relaxing by the pool at HGIR, it might be an important consideration whether there is an indoor or outdoor swimming pool, whether it’s heated or not and has a pool bar or not, and so on.
If a pool is very important for your stay, THG recommends that you do a specific search for the best deals on Rome hotels with pools.
Does Hotel Giubileo have a steam bath, sauna, hot tub, spa, or spa tub?
While you’re exploring the pool options at HGIR38734, you might as well check whether there’s a steam bath, sauna, hot tub, full service spa, or spa tub that you might be able to enjoy to make your stay even more relaxing.

Check-in times and check-out times can vary a lot depending on the accomodation, so be sure to verify whether the check in time and check out time at HGIR works with your schedule, as well as whether you can do a mobile check in to make the process even easier.

Does Hotel Giubileo offer free airport shuttle service?
If you’re flying into an airport as a way of traveling to Rome, you will want to ensure that you can easily get to and from the airport from HGIR, and if you can do this for free with an airport shuttle service, instead of paying a taxi fare, bus fare, or for some other means of travel, that’s even better.
Does Hotel Giubileo offer free parking?

If you don’t have a car when visiting Rome, investigate what kind of transportation HGIR provides to nearby sites, as well as the best way to get around, whether it’s by subway, train, taxi, bus, Uber, Lyft, etc, especially since a nearby subway station, train station, bus station, or taxi station in walking distance can make all the difference in the world.
Does Hotel Giubileo have enough beds for you?
If you’re staying at HGIR with multiple people, this answer is important, because a single twin bed, double bed, queen bed, or king bed is fine if you’re on your own, but if there are others you’d rather not share a bed with, it’s worth checking whether you’ll have a couple double beds or queen sized beds for the sleeping arrangements, or perhaps even a double sofa that you can pull out and make into an extra bed.
Does Hotel Giubileo have good food options?
Depending on your needs, consider whether HGIR offers a free breakfast, and if so, whether it’s a simple daily continental breakfast / buffet breakfast, or something fancier like a brunch or some kind of fine dining experience with exquisite cuisine and award winning food.

Does Hotel Giubileo offer any activities for guests?
Depending on how important entertainment is to you, you might want to investigate whether HGIR organizes any activities for guests, offers special packages, trips, or excursions, whether there is a casino or some other form of adult enternainment nearby, and if you’re traveling with children, whether there are any facilities for children that would make your stay easier.
Can you bring pets to Hotel Giubileo?
If you’re traveling with pets, like dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, or whatever else, definitely investigate the pet policy at HGIR to verify whether your pet is welcome and whether there are any additional charges if they are, indeed, pet friendly.

Brief reviews (in English and other languages)
The hotel was great. The staff were very helpful with any questions we had about the area or tours. The room was a nice size and clean. The shower was smaller than some, but we found this too be the norm I Europe. It was close to many of the attractions that you visit Rome for by walking or bus. With easy access to tours also. The location was centrally located close to the termini train station… there were several little sidewalk cafes tho choose from for meals and relaxing. A supermarket near by was a bonus. We would definitely stay again and woyld recommend it for others.
I stayed at this hotel for one week with my mom and boyfriend for my university graduation therefore, I am very familiar with Rome and its accommodation standards. It was your basic, and standard hotel but very clean and provided everything you need to enjoy Rome and also perfectly located for touring as it is a close walk to Termini station. We found that the staff was very friendly (especially the kind blonde waitress at breakfast who made us cappuccinos and coffees in the morning, thank you!) but the hotel manager was very rude and was constantly yelling at his staff and we found it very uncomfortable to enjoy our stay when the yelling could be heard throughout the corridors and from inside the hotel room.
Excellent little hotel in an excellent position. We found it VERY good value for money and the staff were great
Except the location and the staff, there isn’t anything good that I could say. If you plan to be there only to sleep, than the location is good.
Close to transport- train/ buses and walking distance to local sight seeing places. Room was reasonable size although there were stairs to get there. – No lift. Breakfast was well catered for. An older building with character.
The location was good, close walk to Termini station and about 20 minute walk to main attractions (not 10 minutes like the hotel info states). Large room with big bed and good WiFi.
The friendliness and the location were good. Requested taxi for us on time when we needed one at 5am.
– location to termini (train station) -location to tourist sights about 15 min walk -great price
Location is close to Termini. Try l’Ourdo Blanco gelato right next door.
