This is my third time staying in Akasaka. I love the area. It’s clean and modern. It’s on the Chiyoda subway line and it’s a 10 minute walk to Roppongi. There are lots of restaurants, convenience stores, and small shops around the hotel. Many travelers will be shocked that rooms in budget hotels in Tokyo are so tiny like college dorms. I’m an average size America woman so I could use the bath facilities which would be challenging for a large size man for example. However, they provide many amenities such as tooth brush, paste, razor, hair brush, slippers, tea, frig, shampoo, cream rinse, body soap, hair dryer, tv and radio. The friendly staff can speak some English and there are free maps and guide books at the front desk.
