The room size was spacious, along with an amazing reception and service by Kayma who is working there; anticipating all queries and providing an extra guidance. hope I spelled his name right 😉
The location was fantastic for what we wanted. We came and went as we chose and didn’t need much help from the staff but Favio greeting us was very friendly and helpful. It was easy to get into being on the 2nd floor with a lift and it was very clean. I would say 9/10.
Check-in was smooth and the room was very clean and furnished well. Balcony looks out onto a quiet street, and there is a really good bar just on the corner! Only used the room for siesta and night sleeping, and it was adequate for a good rest and shower before going out to tour the city. I will recommend this place for an affordable stay near the tourist sites in Madrid!
The Hostal is quite central for visits to the major museums and art galleries, a lot within walking distance. Breakfast was easy to find within a short walk, and so was our evening dinner. Most restaurants could help us with English, since we have very little understanding of spoken Spanish
Great location so close to the centre. It’s a ‘hostal’ – you get your own room with a private bathroom and it’s lively and clean. No tea/coffee facilities and it’s not 5* luxury – but for the price and location i felt it was great value for money.
Nothing. The place was more like a prison cell with minimal ventilation and a VERY noisy inefficient air extractor. We would have been more comfortable on a park bench.
Excellent location! Loads of things to do in the area which made our stay really enjoyable, also it’s walking distance from Atocha station. The room was quite basic but comfortable enough for a couple of nights.
