Location. Hotel is a short walk to Jongno 3ga station, convenient to get to tourist attractions.
The staff were really friendly and helpful. It’s close to the subway line, which is really convenient. The big palaces and Insadong are all within walking distance. Bed and pillows were comfy enough.
The location was very accessible and convenient, it was at a quiet area near, yet not exactly where the main street was. The train station was literally a minute walk away. The room was always kept clean and tidy, and toiletries were regularly refilled. Lastly, the staff were very warm and helpful which made me at ease during my stay. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return on my next visit.
Very nice staff who speaks English!!! New hotel, light breakfast for free, cold bottled water for free in the room, nice view from the roof, amazing location and subway station is nearby.
The hotel is in a wonderful location, down an alley and not on the main road, quiet, clean, friendly staff very helpful, close to palaces and hidden garden, DDP(!!!), Insadong, Gwangjang Market (!). Jongno 3 metro station exit 15 at the entrance to the hotel (duck down the alley by the small pharamacy – the hotel is sign posted.
The service at Grid Inn has been some of the best I’ve experienced anywhere. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Location is also great. Line 1, 3, and 5 can be accessed by walking a short distance which can pretty much connect you to any areas of Seoul. In addition, 24-hour availability of the washer and DRYER, not to mention the fact that they are FREE, was a godsend to someone like me who stayed for multiple weeks. Bed was very comfortable. Multiple firmness level pillows were provided, even for solo traveler. Daily cleaning service was excellent too.
Lovely oweners and staff!! Always helpful and doing the extra mile to make your stay better (for example we left our bags while going out of town for 1 night and upon return they were already taken to our new room). Simple but excellent breakfast included. Free water bottles and free usage of laundry machine. The room was very clean. Small (like most in Seoul) but very comfortable. Excellent shower. We were in 3 types of rooms including the economy and they were all very good (ask for a room with a view to n seoul tower). Location might be tricky to find but it’s right in the center without being too noisy.
The staff were able to speak fluent english, so it is easy to communicate. Not common in South Korea. Simple breakfast is also provided although it is not in the booking. Clean toilets and nice shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion given. Easy to find the hotel with the video given by hotel. Just a short 1 min walk from the metro Jongno 3 ga exit and totally safe although it is in a mini street even at night.
Staff were absolutely lovely, saw me waiting around and checked if I was going to take the shuttle bus, then flagged that there was a lot of traffic and recommended the train instead. Always helpful and really friendly. Loved that there was free laundry available, beds were comfortable, location was good.
Very large suite with king bed nice view of the city very quiet for being downtown however if was a Sunday night
