I had a very pleasant stay at Grand Esen. The location is perfect, it’s very close to Eminönu where you can take the bus, steamboat, tram and taxi. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. We had a smaller room on the first day but were placed into a larger one the next day. The breakfast was decent. We could always sit down and enjoy a good cup of coffee/tea. Would stay again!

The staff were so friendly and the location is very good Cosy lobby They have a very nice view from some rooms and specially the ones of sea view that located in the 5th and 6th floor Tramway is 2 minutes walking Room is so clean
Location is exquisitely perfect. Surrounded by the beautiful historic mosques and bazars, lying just a few feet away from all major transport facilitie in istanbul and surrounded by the world’s best food facilities, the location is just perfect. The staff are very friendly and the hotel has a family spirit. The Marmara Sea is visible from the rooms.

I appreciated a lot the staff, very nice kindly brothers Turan and Murat that treated me like a princess offering me tea and everything I asked them I felt like home, safe place to stay also the surroundings till late night The location is great, I was in a single room with magnificent view of Galata tower, very closed to main attraction
Welcoming, helpful staff. Clean sheets and rooms. Reasonable breakfast for the price paid. Ultimately perfect location close to all the nice restaurants, shopping areas, tourist attractions. Marmaray station next door connects you to every single point you need to get to in Istanbul and tram station only a few yards away. It is OK if you are a young traveler on your own.
