The place just got renewed. It’s amazing. Really traditional and cozy, and everything is always perfectly clean. There’s a japanese style garden inside the facility with a pond with fishes in it that is really relaxing. The position is really good, probably the best part of town. Really easy to get to from the station taking just one bus. Hiro (the host) is a really nice guy, speaks a perfect english and he’s always ready to give you advice on where to go, what to see and how to get there (if you give him 5 minutes, he will plan your whole day in Kyoto). Very helpful!! When we will go back to Kyoto, we will surely stay here again!!
Gorgeous property for cheap price in the center of the old district perfect for sightseeing
The property is in a very popular part of Gion, which is the old town and just a street away from the beautiful alleys where temples and shops are. I captured the most amazing pics during sunsets and witnessed the best walks early morning to temples, skipping the crowds. The house itself is exceptionally clean and very traditional, a lovely experience to have while visiting Kyoto. The host, Hiro, was more than helpful, very friendly and not only did I enjoy his company, I will be keeping him as a contact and a friend I plan to stay in touch with. A must when you visit Kyoto.

This is a beautifully refurbished traditional guesthouse, with many authentic period features. The garden is especially beautiful. Hiro is an incredible host (who speaks exxcellent English) who will help you to have an enjoyable stay in Kyoto.
Hiro was the best host, always willing to help (good english btw) and the place is great! It is perfectly located, in a neighbourhood with all traditional houses and temples. We decided to stay longer and we were lucky enough to have an upgrade for free! The room was beautiful, with views to the lovely japanese styled garden. We would totally recommend this place!
Hatte die Zimmer gebucht und war sehr zufrieden. Waschmaschinen sind gleich nebenan und auch ein großer Supermarkt, wo man sich super versorgen kann. Die Lage zu diesem Preis ist KLASSE!
Super Guesthouse/Ryokan, très bien situé pour être au cœur du quartier traditionnel. Très jolie maison et jardin japonais. Hôte vraiment sympathique, parle très bien anglais et un peu français. Les lits du dortoir étaient les plus confortables que j’ai eu en guesthouse. Je recommande sans hésiter pour ceux qui aiment le Japon traditionnel mais ont un petit budget.
位置超好，在祇园附近，石屏小路旁边，在东山安井站或祇园站下车步行5分钟，附近景点吃的都超多。设施很新又齐全，舒适干净，现代简约和式房间，装饰很用心，有庭园和厨房，提供毛巾，洗发水，沐浴液，吹风。老板人帅英文好，人也超nice,很多老外住这里，没缺点，全10分。
The staff were amazing (especially Gregory), they were super friendly, recommended some great restaurants and gave us lots of tips on where to go. Room service was always quick and helpful. We always came home to a neat room. Although maybe a little far for some, Milan is really small, tram stop right outside the hotel so you be dropped at your door (we didn’t catch a single cab while we were there) takes about 15 minutes to get to the Duomo, its also right next to a train station if you are planning on day trips. Airport is one bus and a tram, took a while but not complicated. One last thing – the rooms are huge! Really enjoyed our stay.
