Everything! António is amazing! He gave us transportation to/from the accommodation on check-in/check-out. We met his parents and they are just as awesome! I can’t recommend this place enough. If you like a nice cozy apartment with all the amenities, right in the heart of Porto, where your host considers yourself as part of the family, … this is for you! Oh, and that chocolate cake… mmmmmmmm…!!
Not only did our host collect us from the airport but he dropped us off at the train station on leaving. Nothing was too much trouble and he spent some time with us on arrival ensuring we knew where to go and how best to spend our limited time in the city. The breakfast provisions in the fridge were plentiful and we were also provided with a bottle of port and some of his mothers chocolate cake. I could not have been more satisfied.
Antonio! He’s a volcano of help and fun and determination that you will have a great time at his apartment. There’s everything you would need for a along stay, including enough food stored to feed you for days. His father’s port wine and his mom’s special chocolate cake in the frig are worth the whole trip. And he took us to the airport! We’d go back to Portugal just to stay with this guy. And it was spotless. Bravo!
Antonio the host was superb! Very helpful and accommodating! Nothing was too much trouble! Apartment was fantastic, well equipt and had everything you would possibly need! Perfect central location to explore Porto! Would highly recommend!
The kitchen was fully stocked for breakfast and the homemade cake and port was a treat. The sunny balcony was a great place to relax after touring the city. City maps and sightseeing suggestions were provided. The airport shuttle was prompt.

The Host Antonio was amazing! It was like you had family in Porto. I couldn’t book my first night at this place but he picked me up from the airport and dropped me off at the hotel I stayed at for one night, then picked me up in the morning to take me to the apartment. His mom’s home made chocolate and port was delicious. They make you feel like family. Also the cell phone he gives you to contact him 24/7 is a bonus, especially if you are a solo traveller. Makes you feel very safe and well cared for.
Fantastic hosts! Antonio and his parents go out of their way to make your stay stress free. Clean, comfortable apartment in excellent location. We will certainly be back.
Antonio is the host with the most. He picked us up from the airport and supplied map and a list of things to do in Porto. Delicious cake, made by his Mum, port, cheese, ham and bread for us. We loved the hospitality. Antonio loves his hometown and wants his guests to have a wonderful experience in Porto and that’s exactly what we had. The apartment is very clean, comfortable and in a great location. Thank you Antonio, we’ve had a memorable stay in Porto and in your apartment. You’re a 10!!!
