Great charm, Classic old style spa hotel just by the Danube. Service is excellent and staff is friendly. In the room price ONE entry to Gellért Bath is included. You must see it!

A wonderful place to stay. If it wasn’t for the glorious baths it might feel rather Grand Hotel Budapest. The staff are fantastic, breakfast something to be savoured in the glorious belle Epoque dinning room over looking the river. The rooms are tired but for the location and the price something you should overlook. Remember in a few years when this has had a refurbishment and the price quadrupled you will have wished you stayed here now. Go find your inner Ralph Fiennes.
Grand hotel that is warm, comfortable, friendly and not to musty. Preserves bygone charm with modern services and standards. The attached spa is a big bonus.
Location was excellent, the staff friendly, the breakfast good and we had a lovely view over the river. The hotel and room is a little dated but overall the hotel is excellent value for money. It was also great to get a complimentary visit to the bathes, which are part of the hotel
Good location, breakfast. Lovely stately halls etc… Helpful staff, especially the lady in the business center who booked a Mini-Bud pick-up to the airport. Hop-on-Hop-off bus stop opposite the Hotel. One free entry to the hot water baths. Variety of restaurants nearby.

Reception staff was really nice and helpful. The Gellert terminal bath is great! The view from 4th floor over the river was beautiful.
I liked the range of food offered and the waiting staff are very friendly. It was nice to see different pastries on offer each day – even Francia brioches! Please keep the character of this hotel – it’s very special!
