The location was in a relatively quiet area which was nice for a city like Tokyo. The staff or at least the ones I talked to know some English but I never had a problem talking with them. They don’t accept charge though so you must bring the yen. There was a convenience store right across the street with a ATM that accepted foreign cards and open 24 hours for late night snacks. Two subway stations within a 5 minute walk. The room was small but cozy none the less with a very nice bed. House keeping came every afternoon. Room views however are not common since there are large buildings on both sides. Unfortunately I never was able to go to the spa due to multiple tattoos but there is a tattoo friendly place not far north from what I could get from Google. All in all for my first time in Tokyo I feel I made a good choice for a budget friendly hotel!

Its location, quiet but not too far away from the subway.

The rooms were clean. The window opened for fresh air.

Nice facilities and good location. Not far from station (A18)and touristic places.

The hotel is very close to the underground/train station, 3 minutes walking distance. It is very close to the main neighborhood attractions and to restaurants of Asakusa, a very nice area of Tokyo. The underground connects you directly with Narita airport and gets you in the center of town very quickly. The hotel onsen is small but very clean, with an inside and an outside pool. My single room was small, but I expected to be that way so no complain. The only thing which bothered my is that emergency doors are closed and you need a key to open them. I asked the staff and they told me that’s the way it works in Japan, which is true as I verified in other hotels around the country. Being claustrophobic I don’t like taking elevators and would rather use the stairs. This time I had to take a deep breath and…. get into the elevator!!

The public bath is wonderful! Women’s side has a view of the Tokyo tower!

Ease of use. Cleanliness. Every thing needed was in in the room / hotel. And most definitely location.

Location – the hotel was close to Asakusa and Kuramae stations.

Loved the Onsen particularly the little outdoor bath with a view of the river and Skytree!

I reserved this hotel for my parents. The staff arranged transfer from airport, looked after them all the time. My parents back home with very good experience and big smile in their faces. Highly recommend.

This hotel is a brilliant location. Plenty of international bars and restaurants nearby. Easy to get to from the airport. We had the breakfast which was also brilliant. The hotel is very modern, bed is really comfy. We had our first few night in Japan here to explore Tokyo. Before we left to travel some more of Japan we rebooked it for the last night purely because it’s good value and easy location to get to the airport early in the morning.

Very quiet room, facing west, on 14th floor. The tiny room has everything one needs.

The bed was good the only downside i could think of were the little cushions but you can ask for more at the staff then it’s perfect.

I think that all of the facilities in the room were well designed and it’s comfortable to me during my stay. One more thing was that the location was quite convenient for me to visit a place of my purpose.

Perfect size room and features for a solo traveler

Great location, few mins from JR Shimbashi and Shiodome. Lots of great little restaurant in the area, which is also very quiet.

The bed is outstanding! So soft and comfy! The view out of the room is great – I had Tokyo tower in front and some skyscrapers. My whole stay was very enjoyable. I even found the tiny room cozy. The area is very quiet and green (unlike many other areas where APA has its hotels).

The hotel is close to Simbashi station and this station has different lines to connect with the main tourist places in Tokio 😊.

Comfortable room if a little small but absolutely fine for one night. Very hot in Tokyo but air-con is room worked well so had a good nights sleep. Choice of western style or Japanese breakfast. Staff very helpful.

the bed was great a bit too soft for my taste but that is my choice, breakfast choice is very good stuff are helpful and all speak English.

Room is clean. Restaurant is around hotel. Not far from train station.

Good location in a nice part of Tokyo with many small restaurants and great coffee around the corner. Nice breakfast

The facilities provided in the room were good however it felt that they were really cramped in the small room. Staff was really nice and could speak English.

Proximity to place of work. Close to train station.

The location really close to Shimbashi Station (included in the JRPass and this is VERY IMPORTANT for your budget) was one of the highlights of this hotel. A lot of aminities included in the room and a really comfortable bed. Everything seems not old and free coffee/tea with a kettle and fridge in the room (nice to get something in the close 7-eleven to have dinner inside the room)

Everything was wonderful! A bit narrow roomsbut that was ok for me!

The place was clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. There was air con which was sorely needed during the summer heat and it was affordable.

Good value in a good location close to 2 metro stations. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Off side street so taxi driver had some problems finding it but easy to get to once you know the location.

Great location to be in, specially if you’re on a short visit. Being at walking distance from old town square & charles bridge makes it easier to see the city in short period.

We live in Japan and decided to stay the night in Tokyo randomly. Found this hotel very quickly and easily near where we were. Staff was friendly, helpful, efficient, and kind. Room was clean and quiet.

Big bed but it took up most of the room. Location fantastic. Really helpful staff at reception. Close to train station.

The bed was enormous and very comfortable. The room was very spacious for Tokyo and well appointed. The views from the SkySpa on the 16th floor were fantastic. The SkySpa was beautiful, with luxury amenities.

The breakfast buffet was varied and tasty. There’s an onsen and massage chair for free. And it’s overlooking Ueno Park which has all the big museums. Close to lots of good shops and restaurants!

I often come to Tokyo, and this is so far one of the best hotels I tried (in this price range). I think I liked absolutely everything – very clean, personnel is very friendly, the hotel is close to Ueno station (

7 minutes walk), many restaurants in the vicinity. Breakfast is VERY good (and plenty). And, especially, I liked public baths – highly recommended. Wifi is good, A/C – as well. Very good view on the Sinobazu/Ueno Park.

Location is very close to shopping area of Ameyoko Markets and other shops like Uniqlo. Very close walking distance to train lines like the Keisei Skyliner, so getting there from Narita is easy and simple as, it’s the Skyliner’s last stop (Ueno) Good views out to Shinobazuno Pond & Temple. Really helpful and friendly staff that spoke good English. Onsen on the 2F was nice.

Stayed in this hotel more than 2 times I think. Convenient to access from Narita airport. Skyliner to Ueno Station and then 5-7 minutes walk to the hotel. Very friendly staff. They even let me early check in. That was not often in Japan. Room is still small which is very typical in Japan for most business hotels aka budget hotels but it has everything and is clean. For large people, it may be a challenge to use bathroom, as it’s quite small. I’m 5.7/130lbs, I felt kinda tough to turn around. If you can get a room with a view facing the lake/pond, that would be something especially when in the morning you look out of the window and see the lake/pond covered by green lotus leaves. (Guess winter would be another story). Anyway, I enjoyed my stay and would not mind coming back again if possible.

Location was amazing, 10 minute walk to Shibuya and harjuku. Close to stations and plenty to see and do within a short distance. Rooms are small but well equipped and the breakfast is great.

Room condition was good – cozy as usual but comfort designed room. Late night ramen was great – maybe better than a local restaurant! Breakfast was nice enough to start your fresh morning. various food choice. Public Bath was nice as well.

Wonderful breakfast! Very comfortable beds, helpful staff, and a very relaxing and large public bath. The water was scented with fresh fruit and the sauna was also good. Such a treat to have a nice onsen in the middle of tokyo. Also, the lobby is a very nice place to work if you need to get things done as well.

Great hotel, would stay there again. Excellent service, fabulous breakfast, free ramen at night, furo. Nothing to dislike.

Awesome breakfast! Delicious free ramen after 9 pm. Available chargers in the room for any electronic equipments. Very friendly and helpful English speaking staff.

Always a good stay. Staff are great, as is the location and the facilities for business use etc. Didn’t book with breakfast this time, but it is generally pretty damn good.

The room is always clean, the staff is always friendly, check in is always easy. Good location and the city view is excellent. When I travel to Futako-Tamagawa, this is where I always stay.

The location was great with many restaurants and shops very close by. My room had a balcony overlooking an internal garden and it was nice to be able to step out there. It was great to be on such a high floor with lovely views over the town and Tama river.

Excellent location next to train station and shopping centre. Plenty of restaurants & cafes very close by. Wonderful garden and walking area, which is an extension of the shopping centre. Hotel is only 2 years old , situated on the 28, 29 and 30th floor of an office building. Very friendly & helpful staff. Great value for money for Tokyo.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The concierge had to help us book a bus from Tokyo to our next destination and also helped us get a taxi-he was very patient with us. The Hotel is very nice-loved the view from the 29th floor-we felt we didn’t have enough time to really enjoy it, but would’ve loved another day there. It was very clean and inviting.

Near to Tokyu and Takashimaya. Transport is convenient with subway (2 lines) and airport bus. Clean modern interior. Hollywood twin room is spacious for Tokyo standards. Olsen on 29th floor. Mount Fuji can be seen on clear mornings from the river-facing rooms

The proximity to the shopping center and other shopping venues was conveniently close and so was the train station. Exterior rooms have beautiful views of the river and city night lights.

A good hotel, luxurious by Tokyo standards, and close to a shopping mall and restaurants.

View and transportation comfort from and to ,Haneda airport

New, clean hotel. Rooms are small but normal of Tokyo. Onsen is a nice touch in place of a gym / swimming pool. Can go to the park instead for a jog. Good location if you need to be in the Futako Tamagawa area. Adjoining Rise with plenty of shops and food, and Takashimaya a little further down. Room amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body foam), kettle, fridge are all available.

The room was nice, shared bathroom was very clean, the roof terrace is great, location very good.

Bed was extremely comfy. We were able to get a very good value package including breakfast by booking in advance

Spacious room with excellent amenities. I so liked the idea of leaving drawers slightly ajar to show what was in each of them. Nice choice of restaurants (if a little pricey).

We changed to the executive level after staying the first night at a smoking twin share room which was unpleasant. Old room, terrible pillow, smelly. Staff at breakfast is not very friendly as my 3yr old was eating slow so we were the last one in the restaurant. The executive level is vey good, nice clean room, comfortable bed, nice and quiet breakfast.

Great breakfast buffet. Terrific view from our room and the attached gift shop was most reasonable in price.
