Location of the Hotel is best. Near to metro and if you like walking then lots of options to visit by foot.

The breakfast range is amazing, the dining area is quite large and the staff are really friendly. There is plenty of parking out the back – just find the little laneway, no need to park on the street. Late arrival is ok, just let the front desk know.

Staff were very helpful with easy check in. Evening meal service was limited and slow because it seemed like they had a staffing shortage. However, after a manager appeared and assisted staff, things improved and the meal was good. Breakfast which was an additional charge, was very good with many healthy options!

The view across the city was interesting. Breakfast was excellent; the variety of fresh fruit as well as hot selections was just right.

Well located in the "foodie" part of a significant street and away from the shoddy souvenir sellers and transport touts. The room was well sized, comfortable and quiet. The pool was small but appreciated although sun chairs were in short supply. The dining areas were good; the buffet breakfast was generous but after 9 days was lacking in variety. The staff were always courteous and maintained just the right balance of quiet efficiency and welcoming friendliness which made my stay so enjoyable.

Wonderful location, very near subway which can get you all over the city. Also near main shopping street with good restaurants. Felt very genuine, being in the hutongs and styled as such. Very personal and relaxed environment, lovely music, water gardens and very quiet. Staff spoke amazing english (a bonus for us but not expected!) which made any questions we had easy, they even booked a trip for us, showed us around our room and gave us a couple of sweet treats throughout our stay. An email was sent in advance to ensure we had all the information we need to get there. Restaurant on site was very good, if not a bit more expensive than elsewhere. The afternoon tea was also very good. Wi-Fi was strong and stable. Would definitely stay again.

Easy location to reach coming from Canberra and convenient to most places in Sydney. Very quiet hotel, somewhere we prefer to come rather than all the business at the larger hotels. The small rooms upstairs are adequate for an overnight stay, but the deluxe rooms downstairs are larger and open up to an outside verandah looking out to the garden. The parking facility is always a bonus. Breakfast is more than sufficient at a very reasonable cost. Hotel is ten minutes walk away from the Mater Hospital.

Many people who reviewed this property talked about how wonderful Martin is. He is the guy looking after you while you are there. When you keep reading him in the reviews you wonder what does this Martin do to get so many mentions. And the simple answer is, he cares. His desire to help is so genuine, with no agenda but to ensure you have a great time. All the staff are great, he just stands out. The room is really lovely, with a small but very well equipped kitchen (with a blender). The gym is small but it was more then adequate for a few workouts. Great location, minutes away from lots of restaurants, supermarkets and a mall. It also has a lovely little rooftop area where you can watch the sun set.

The neighborhood was residential bordering on small commercial so we felt a bit like residents but could still easily do shopping and get to many restaurants. Karen, Ayanda and crew were extremely helpful and friendly. I especially enjoyed the attention that we got immediately after we arrived the first day. The patio was especially nice early in the morning and into the evening. The parlor was comfortable and filled with interesting books. And Table Mountain looms right behind you. Loved the place!

As usual, everything is perfect here if you are looking for a small, peaceful hotel .. The prices are fair and all the services are good. Food is tasty as usual including breakfast.

The room for 3 is really spacious. Location of the hotel is perfect. Near BTS Skyway and MBK

The hotel is not a brand-new obviously, but still worth staying – the wood rooms are very beautiful. Having a jacuzzi bath was great too. The breakfast was OK.

Left b4 croissants were served. The bed was not as good as Super 8. However, I was only there for maybe 5 hrs.

Abdou, the host/caretaker of the road, was fantastic. He made us feel welcome and was very attentive and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean – the bathroom was great as it was in the style of Morocco. You should note that there are no windows in the room in which we stayed, but I think that ended up being for the best as the area (inside the medina) is very loud! This was a little bit of a oasis among the craziness of the medina!
