even though on busy street the rooms were very quiet

Excellent convenience to public transport and location to Coles shopping complex. On a main road but unit and bedroom were very quiet. Good kitchen facilities, wifi and TV. Friendly efficient service.

We stayed there for 8 nights and enjoyed ourselves. Good location – right next to the highway exit if you are driving. 10 mins walk to Metro station if you are not. Right next to a shopping centre with a supermarket opened till late night. Fully functional kitchen with cooking wares. Could use a pair of scissors and lighter for the stove (we ended up getting ours from the supermarket) Bathtub – who doesn’t like one?

I used this apartment for preparation for myself and my groomsmen for my wedding day. It was a brilliant location and the staff were excellent. Very clean, beautiful and simple design and excellent communication. My ring bearer had scraped his knee and the cleaner provided bandages and immediate help. Highly recommended, great location.

Staff are friendly. We had problem with hot water, but staff responded very quickly and gave us another room key if we need to shower there, just to save the trouble of moving all the luggage

The comfort of feeling relaxed and could feel like my own place istead of a hotel room

Proximity to the train for commuting to the city, excellent shopping down the road, convenience to facilities, clean and adequately catered for with toiletries and tea/coffee and milk. Bed comfortable.

It was fairly handy to where I needed to be. The room was clean and had the basic essentials.

Very cool inside even witjout the cooler on a very hot day

So clean, Very new upscale , Felt brand new. Food was amazing!

Very clean. Friendly and accommodating staff. Very close (easy walking distance) to the MCG. Trams one block away. Easy walking distance to bridge street.

The room and facilities were clean, comfortable and adequate for our needs. The location was handy to the MCG, which we wanted, the city and trams. We would be arriving late and were asked to call them on the day. When we hadn’t called by early afternoon, they started trying to contact us. Consequently, when we arrived everything was ready for us.

Location, and parking facilities. Food required was very handy to the Apartment.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Looked after my luggage after checking out while I competed in a sporting event and offered me the use of facilities when I returned to freshen up.

The staff were fair the property not what it appeared to be on the Internet the photos were eye catching once arriving it wasn’t what we seen In the photos poor quality 👎🏻

Location was really close to the city and easy to get transport. Staff were friendly. Room was comfortable.

Close to the MCG and the kitchenette was a bonus if you want to eat on a budget.

Bed was really comfortable & curtains very effective at shielding light. Lovely view over the gardens. Close to everything we needed. Room was exceptionally quiet, even though our room opened directly onto the lift.

Food from the room service menu, very nice, plentiful and quick service

Amazing, staff were beautiful, we even managed to have the luxury of checking in early, car park and just the customer service was the best. The next day when we checked out, we were able to leave our car parked for no extra mi eu if we wanted to go and see the city more. Amazing!

The king bed and pillows were very comfortable. Had a good nights sleep.

I liked the outlook sitting having breakfast. Nice overlooking gardens. Location suited me as I like walking and restaurants and shops only a short walk away. The breakfast buffet was brilliant, everything you could wish for and more.

All staff were great, happy and very helpful. Even produced a birthday cake for my wife without any prompting, late checkout no extra cost. Magic.

I checked in quite late and was happy that this was not a problem. The bed was very comfortable.

The sound and life of the canal day and night was comforting and cheering.

Very good breakfast, brand new hotel -, it’s an old house that has been gut-renovated. All is new and, while simple, very well done. We would walk to the red square every day, so it is ver walkable. I would have given it a 5 on location if it were a little bit closer. But still very doable. Staff is helpful, and the breakfast was great. We had a nice stay. If we come back next year for the world cup, we will probably stay there again.

The owners were truly nice and very helpful. We received some good tips about Playa del Carmen and surroundings such as Tulum, Akumal, X Cacel etc. The whole apartment was very well maintained and there is even a hammock in the living room and snorkeling masks for guests to use. There are good and cheap places to eat nearby. It is also not too far away from the beach and supermarkets.

Friendly helpful staff. Quiet room and had curtains that made the room dark which is great.

The bed and pillows were very comfy. I liked everything about the apartment, I didn’t want to go home! Our trip to Melbourne was stressful due to a minor car accident and almost missing the train. When I stepped into the apartment I instantly relaxed. The people at reception were understanding and helpful. We attended a footy game at AAMI stadium which wasn’t too far of a walk from the Quest.

Comfortable beds and friendly staff, great location with everything at your doorstep but being that bit out of the city it is very quiet. Right near train and tram services and easy walk into the city through Fitzroy Gardens.

Fantastic location for events at the MCG, Rod Laver, Flinders Street station etc

Staff were efficient and friendly, painless check in and out. Apartment was spacious with separate bedroom and all facilities were clean and well maintained.

Michelle at the front desk could not have been more accommodating. She was very professional and prompt with any queries. The hotel was very conveniently located to Hisense: just a short walk. The car was safely parked underground. We would definitely stay again.

The bed was amazing! Too often I find myself rolling around on a cheap hard mattress that I hate. This one was just right. My goldilocks bed. 😍

We booked a two bedroom apartment for 7 days and the apartment was glorious. I could have stayed there forever. It was in the heart of the city and very accessible to different areas of Melbourne, easy to take public transportation and so on. Handy to have a supermarket downstairs as well for late night snacks. My friends and I made breakfast several mornings and enjoyed that feeling of almost having a home away from home experience. It definitely made our stay more enjoyable.

We don’t like it because there was no ac facilities even ac was there. No staff response after we complain.. not going again there.

Beds comfy, view was spectacular. Such a great location for where we were needing to go for our weekend away. So close to Southbank and South Wharf.

Was in a great location with just a short walk to the Old Town of Gdansk. The neighbourhood is very quiet and as such heard very little in the way of noise from other guests or local residents. Lovely room with en-suite shower room. The tram numbers 3,8 and 9 stop just a 100 metres from the property. Breakfast was adequate to start the day. Having an apple mac in the room was just an extra bonus for the techo fans. The information to gain entry to the rooms was excellent as it was unmanned except at breakfast by a lady that spoke no english (my problem for not speaking polish). The property is very close to a waterway that has well maintained paths that i enjoyed finding. Loved my time here and would highly recommend the Hostel Octupus to everyone.
