The beds were actually really comfortable, my friend kept raving about his bunk bed and I loved my queen size bed (or full,not sure the exact size) but yeah they were clean and comfy.

Friendly staff, clean room, towels, soap and shampoo are presented, hair dryer – by request. Storage for baggage after check-out.

Private room was spacious with a balcony which was nice. Quite a walk to Hollywood Boulevard but not a hard or strenuous one. Hostel had a lot of events on for patrons

Each night presents a different social event, either complementary or very cheap ($15). The events, ranging from cookouts to wine tastings, were a blast, and I met a lot of interesting people, including a girl who not only corrected my German, but expressed a devotion to the free peanuts provided. Each morning, there is both reduced fat milk and soy milk provided for breakfast, and the kitchen has every type of cooking equipment one might imagine using, even peelers. The bed is comfortable and the mattress is sealed in water-proof, bug-proof material, so you can sleep without worrying about odors or pests arising from the mattress. The outdoor area has great furniture and even has a charging station so that you can work outdoors.

My favorite restaurant in the world, the mighty CANTER’S DELI, was only a block-and-a-half away!

The faculty here are incredibly accommodating and super friendly. Many from different countries which was fun. It’s right near a lot of downtown activities – you can literally walk to The Grove!

Good breakfast, very clean room with very clean bathroom and lockers inside. The place was very tidy and a general friendly atmosphere. The night I stayed there there was even free diner! -- Ótimo café da manhã, quarto bem limpo com banheiro/chuveiro e armários dentro. O lugar todo era bem ajeitado e com uma atmosfera geral amigável. A noite em que estive teve até janta gratuita!

The location was good, the room was nice, the breakfast had a good variety but very crowded. Overall it was a nice place to stay.

The excellent English ability of the owner Mr Lee and the Mongolian Cleaning Staff. You can order an English Breakfast of Fried Eggs, English style bacon ( lightly smoked but very acceptable for Korea ! toast and butter plus other goodies if you like a surprise !). The night club is closed. This Hotel suitable for adults ! There is a laundry on the 2nd floor.

The staff was perfect, always having a smile (at reception and catering), and the breakfast meal.

The sea view is really great, breakfast is tasty and fresh, receptionists are hospitable and speak English well.

The location was great. The Chinese hosts were especially easy to deal with. Thanks. When we wanted to extend, they did that for us.

Lovely spacious rooms with solid wood furnishings, gorgeous garden setting with choise of two pools. Excellent spa.

The staff was very friendly and eager to help. The extra fluffy towels were a nice surprise (most in Asia are very thin). The bed was also really comfortable.

The owners was fantastic! She was kind, helpful, nice, and went way beyond to make us satisfied. In advance, she agreed all our special requests, picked us up and even helped us with local currency. Perfect!

Established 1989, and the towels look like the same year. Not happy with it…

Nice staff Fairly basic accomodation but good for the price

A mix of older rooms and newer rooms, although they are in the process of renovating. The full breakfast was 20 euro and worth every cent. I stayed in a junior suite and was very impressed by the cleanliness and modernity.

Peaceful and very clean and tidy. Near every interesting downtown LA destination ( Olvera Street, The Broad gallery, Grand Central Market, LA Live, nice monument to astronaut Ellison Onizuka).

This hotel is very well-located right in Little Tokyo and easy walking to sights in the northern end of downtown and the Metro and on the Dash A bus route. It has a kitchen and laundry and a fridge in the room – very helpful. It is price appropriately for its age and amenities and good value if you are not after glamour. Because there is none of that.

Room is tidy, Staff is very nice, location good, a lot of restaurants around.

Vintage Japanese hotel, home like set up esp the shower! Simple and clean, helpful friendly staff. It is a great location and restful stay for a solo travel.

The location was very convenient for Union transport station and downtown LA. Relatively cheap , not sure about the cheerful.

Location is excellent. Everything is good except there’s no air conditioning.

I really liked the price, customer service, cleanliness, facilities, and location of the hotel.

Very good location: just at the second floor of Daikokuya in Little Tokyo. The staff is also very helpful and nice.

The onty two thing I liked is the localization of the hotel and the WIFI signal which was good.

the room is quiet big, and the owner is really helpful.

The place was very clean and comfortable. Amazing outdoor pool and sundeck. Natasha was very responsive when we had questions or needed something.

Really nice suite, there are a lot of restaurants and shops nearby.

Natasha our host was outstanding from start to finish. The whole process of staying here is easy and would definitely recommend. My only advice is book early or be disappointed.

It is a nice place to stay with all the amenities of a full furniture apartment, with easy and close access to the beach! Along with multiple shopping centers just 10 minutes away or less. The properties pool is fantastic, also it is very quiet from being off the main road. Also the property renters are so nice and answer any questions you may have via text – super convenient!

The instructions for the appartment key worked fine. Close tot the aiport and nice neighbourhoud with supermarket at the opposite of the street. We like te appartment very much although we have some observations and suggestions for further improvement.

Very convenient location when going to the exhibition, 10 min on foot. Comfortable, well-equipped rooms. Breakfast is good. Very service-minded staff.

The location of the hotel is absolutely great, in the heart of the city- very easy to get anywhere. The staff is also great, very polite and nice. I liked the fact they changed the sheets and towels on a daiky basis.

The bed was unbelievably comfy. I wanted to take it home. The staff were VERY helpful and even went to the trouble of printing off directions and underground instructions to help us plan our day. Breakfast was great. Will definitely look for this hotel chain in other cities for our future adventures.

The room was lovely and clean and spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Staff very pleasant and helpful with directions.

So clean, very comfortable rooms and great value. So much better than places we have stayed in Paharganj before. The staff were super friendly and helpful too. Being off the main road and on the edge of Paharganj this hotel let’s you escape all the noise and craziness outside.

Wonderful little hotel located in the heart of the old city. Our beautiful and cozy room was facing the Charles Bridge and the Castle. Very friendly and polite staff. Everything was just perfect!

My bed was very comfortable. My room was super clean.

Breakfast was ok would have liked some type of meat and eggs, but better than nothing! Good waffles. Bed was ok.

Comfortable beds, clean rooms. Handy guest laundry. Great Greek Restaurant on the premises.

We had just stepped off an 8 hour flight across 7 time zones. We just need a place to crash for the night instead of driving 250 miles home. It was OK for that purpose.

The room and bed were comfy, the property was in a great location – we walked to the airport with our packs on – only took about 25 mins. The flights stop about midnight and start up again at 6:30am sophie wee had a great sleep in between! We thought it was quite a novel experience to be situated under the flight path! As our flight was an evening one, we were able to store our bags for the day and took a bus to Santa Monica without needing to pay for extra storage. Breakfast was simple and easy.

Location was convenient for my needs. The room type and style met my needs.

Cheap and cheerful. Great location when arriving at LAX late. Pretty good breakfast included.

I liked the room, I found it very comfortable and perfectly endowed, the kindness of the gentleman and the tranquility of the place

Very polite and friendly staff. Location – close to Holywood and Griffith Park. Comfortable beds.

The wifi was reliable and I liked the bathroom door.

The fact that it was close to hollywood night life

Not so many rooms that you had to deal with your loud neighbors

Coffee pot and microwave would be nice. But overall one night it’s fine

First of all is cheap. Really good value for money. Close to Hollywood. Really nice and friendly staff.

Friendly staff, standard Hollywood motel. Small parking lot, little noisy from Sunset Blvd in front of the motel. Good value, would stay again.

Location is quite convenient to access Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Griffith’s Park. Comfortable bed. Hot shower.

Very basic but clean. Bed was comfortable. We left some headphones and an Ipod in the room when we checked out. We called them up to check if they’d found them and they kept them for us until we could pick them up 10 days later. Very honest. Fine stay for 1 or 2 nights but wouldn’t want to stay longer.

Central location with easy access to public transport, many stations around, Former business hotel converted to a youth hostel, good facilities including private bathroom for all rooms and spacious common lounge. Friendly & helpful staff speaking good English. Family friendly.

The shuttle picked us up and from there everything was set. They checked my ID to see if it matched with the credit card information then our vacation started. Rooms are really spacious and not filled. Housekeeping was fast, breakfast was nice, and the location was PERFECT.

Room was clean and comfortable, staff were very good, good breakfast and a free airport shuttle.

Karla the Kitchen staff was excellent and happy to help.

I have to emphasize the excellent attitude of the manager, Victor. He was very cooperative and did his best to solve all our claims. If this is your last stop before leaving Los Angeles by plane, it is very well located near the airport. with easy acces to all the car rental agencies, and rather unexpensive. Rooms are very spacious.

Clean room.outside was city dirty and entrance was a bit off putting but staff and room were excellent. Decor was dated but very clean and tidy

Great breakfast selection and quality and sufficiency to prepare for a long day. Loads of room space and storage. Secure environment with alert staff. Aircon which is effective and quick to settle. Comfortable, spacious bed.

Free breakfast was great. It is similar to what Marriott offers so no complaint on that.

A very nice hotel. Well kept up. Good sound-proofing. Pleasant staff. All the furniture, etc. in the room was up to date, not worn or run-down. Very generous free hot breakfast.

I liked the setup of the room, with the toilet separated from the sink and closet. Lots of space, and clean
